One Last Stop, by Casey McQuiston

Well, what can I say regarding this book? First of all, I’ve read it with my dear friend Kate, one chapter per day. Thank you so much for reading this book with me. I enjoyed it so much. Let’s plan the next one to read together!

I enjoyed this book so much, that I gave it five stars. It’s one of those books that simply warms your heart. It’s such an easy read... It flows really well, and it was just fun. Even the longer chapters didn’t feel that long.

I’d like to point out that the LGBTQIA+ representation on this book is the best. It’s probably the best one I’ve read regarding this subject up until this point.

I honestly have no words.

If you’re looking for a fun and light read that is mysterious and talks about the LGBTQIA+ community, I would recommend this one.

The Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath

    Image

So… Where do I begin? I honestly have no idea.

This novel talks about mental health and how it used to be perceived decades ago (it is still a taboo topic these days) and how difficult it is to be a woman, to choose the future you want for yourself, and to be able to control your own life.

One of the most highlighted points of this book is the main character’s inability to conform to society and how it affects her decisions.

The first thought that came to my mind while reading it was “Plath’s writing is simply poetic” and the next one was “Why is it so sad?”

And now I'm picking "Sunrise on the Reaping" up and I want to read as much as I can. /flowerpower/

It's looking like this so far:

I am  I feel like romance novels are easier and faster to read than other genres.

I really am! It gives Gilmore Girls vibes, and it's so cute. It's the fourth book in the series and I honestly think it's the best one so far :D
