If you can even call the current day one a website,it feels like an insanely short click to play CD ROM game but with basic visuals and no care put into it.

The way it's even worse

A website for a show should AT LEAST be the source of all information. So news about the show, where to find games of the show, shop even. But they completely neglect the information part and just made the shop instead.
It feels like the websites are just not interested in creating fun content for their specific target audience and target the more mature audience instead, even though communties are the best way to keep someone engaged with a show. :cloud:

You're exactly,it feels like they only have the website to hoard it nowadays. They don't even need to add new games they could just add the old ones, there's no fun content outside of pages you have to PRINT and it's a literal nothingburger. I could brainstorm ideas for that website within under 10 minutes so they don't even have an excuse to defend themselves with

Yeah, honestly it feels like the Winx Club website is really dying. It’s kind of sad because it’s basically the only one still up from that older era... PopPixie and Huntik are completely gone, and the newer ones like Regal Academy and Mermaid Magic are technically still online but feel totally abandoned. Like, Mermaid Magic hasn’t even been updated since launch, and for months now the characters section doesn’t even show their images properly… and no one is managing it to check it out. At this point, it’s like all their sites are gone regardless.

I feel so sad because we grew up with the internet to ourselves, it was the cool thing youngsters used and every space felt like it invited us. Social media was funnier and every single website was built to keep different generations entretained. But the more people joined the internet, the more its colors were sucked out until it became as corporate as the adult world is.

They shifted the attention to social media because younger generation are growing up with social media nowadays, it explains why websites are sort of dying honestly, but it's sad at the same time :/

They could've created the archive of how the website looked like on their own and could've promote it on their socials as something cool and retro for example, just saying 🤷
I bet more people would visit, they pretty much tried making new "web avatar" and that didn't last long either >_>

Also it's confirmed that in thle upcoming game there was supposed to be a wardrobe feature but they took it out,was that the reason why they might've rushed it?

Yeah it's such a good idea and it would keep everyone interested. Older fans could use older versions of the website while newer ones would get to experience it too. I don't understand how tecnology keeps evolving but shows keep going back. How can the 2010 website be 10x better than the 2026 one? How do years go forward but innovation backwards? :cloud:
