Anyone missing Gardenia Park (online adventure game) ?

Hi everyone,

I am back to this forum from (idk exactly when it was) almost 2014 or sth, back then I was a teenage very into winxclub episodes. I was really looking for background pictures for my psp if I am not mistaken, my dad found them on winx website for me and it was the very first time he created an email for me to use to register here and there was the beginning of my exploration here in this website. I remember I found lots of good friends here and it was a great place for me for English speaking!

Having all these said, I am really missing the time when the Online winx world was there , I don't recall the name exactly but thankfully I found someone on Reddit talking about it and I got its picture from her post and will put here:



I already missed it back then when it switched to winx adventure, I liked the older version much more and I don't know if by any chances we can have the older version back to just recall our memories and once again have the chance to visit that place after +10 yrs. It would be a great gift for all of winx lovers I would say.



I wanna hear from you as well, if you miss the older version of winx advnture/ winx world and wish to see that again.

You're probably talking about Gardenia Park if I'm referring to the image you shared. I remember playing it a lot when I was young... so I share your feelings about this game, which I thought was absolutely amazing!

It's true that it would be great to have a remake of this game, but I don't think it's going to happen any time soon, unfortunately... But at the moment, Winx Adventure is in development for release, so I hope you'll enjoy playing it all the same.

I have a lot of plans for the website to be 100% honest, and, if my life runs the course I wish it to run, then I will eventually find someone to help me improve winx adventure and also PERHAPS recreate Gardenia Park, but this is a huge, huge work and I can't say it would be ready in less than 6 years. Every asset, every script, every line of that game is lost and nothing was saved by anyone, it would be starting completely from scratch based on the very few videos and pictures online as well as people's memories of that game. My focus right now is on Winx Adventure because that's the game I truly grew up with and it's just sort of finished, I need to fix a lot of things but I also have the game sort of working too. I have its assets and everything already "sailing".

But know that my deepest wish is to be able to bring everything that was lost eventually from this era, and Gardenia Park is part of it.

Thanks for the great work, I will have look to it for sure ! Idk if everyone had the same feeling but the Gardenia park felt more friendly idk why but also the winx adventure was a great work tbh. <3

I was wondering and had some questions as well which are completely and need to be asked in HELP..

First, I wanted to know how one can join and collaborate in administration tasks here and work somehow for the website and become an admin!

Another one was related to managing account, do you know would it be possible to change the username somehow? even by asking directly from admins via email?

I used to play Gardenia Park more than Winx Adventure, but the fact that Winx Adventure is in development makes me very pleased! But, as our administrator Juleic1123 pointed out, Gardenia Park will take a long time to be published, unfortunately...

Btw Roselynn, I forgot to mention, I changed my web avatar look but I realized it doesn't reflect on y current picture shown on forum or even on first page, but when I go to change my look, the look is already saved. :roll:

To save your avatar after completing its look, go to the “inventory” section, click on the green camera and validate your look!

Yes I was SO obsessed with Gardenia Park when I was a kid!! I loved seeing others full avatars, the beautiful graphics and the music. Later you were able to have a virtual pet too! But I've really missed Gardenia Park (I loved Winx Adventure too but I couldn't help missing GP ) You could chat by choosing different lines like "My favorite Winx is..." and then you chose the suitable option, so it was easier to communicate with people even though I was a kid with... well not so great English skills

I remember you could buy balloons and ice-creams to yourself, maybe also to your friends? And some people had wings? Also you could meet the Winxs and see them using magic. And it was possible to send people private messages, also when the game was still loading. That was so practical because the game loaded so slowly so I was able to chat with my friends while waiting.

Funny memory I: Some people sent me messages about writing competitions and asked if I was willing to participate. I always told them that I can't speak English very well But they were always so nice to me.

Funny memory II: Someone called me orage (with a typing mistake) because I had orange clothes. I always had Stella's orange ballerina dress (which I bought right away when I opened the new web avatar here ), cat ears and this default hair style because I liked it so much.

Funny memory III: When I was talking with other girls, right at the moment a boy appeared all girls just left me and ran to talk to the boy. There were literally a circle of girls around ONE boy and I started to feel lonely Once I started following one girl who left me after finding a boy player and the girl sent me messages "Stop following me you orage!!"

Funny memory IV: Once I was trying to play GP but it took at least TWO hours and it still hadn't loaded. My mom told me to turn the computer off because I've spent too much time on the computer and I started to cry and yell "This is so UNFAIR, I didn't even get to play the game after all the waiting!!"

Yeah I miss it too. I also spend more time in the GP than Winx Adventure. Also because my PC back then was pretty slow. Even Gardenia Park was hard to load
I remember that you could buy a pet egg and take care of it until it opens.

I was very young, like 8 or 9 so I can´t recall everything. But besides that I really appreciate the work and effort you put in to make this website great again! Thank you Juleic!
