It's tough when you're surrounded by couples who live together or get to see eachother whenever they want, but I push on. Especially since she has applied to move to my country, but the waiting for it to process makes my skin crawl

Oh,that sounds horrible. It's great that you will get to see your wife again! Also which country do you live and where did your wife live in the past? (If you don't want to answer, that's completely fine. I wouldn't want to ignore your boundaries)

She lives in Scotland and I live in Sweden, so it isn't terribly far, only about 2h on a plane, but it's definitely annoying to not be able to see eachother whenever we'd like. But we got married specifically to make her moving here easier so hopefully the agency hurries up and lets her in the country :D

I don't really know about going to different companies (I never got out of my own country) why doesn't the agency let her in?

Basically when you move to a new country permanently, you have to fill in an application about why you're moving and stuff like that, then you have to wait for it to be reviewed and accepted, so we're currently waiting for it to be accepted so she can move here and live with me permanently :)
