Does anyone know when a new issue of the reboot is going to come out?

Wow, I didn't know that they'll continue the reboot (I expect you're talking about the comics, right?) I've read fan translations of the first 2 ones and I thought it was cancelled but I haven't been following the latest news.

I was happy they created the reboot but I didn't like it much after all. I didn't like how they changed the characters' hobbies (like Cornelia was a football player if I remember correctly, and not an ice-skater anymore - and ice-skating fits perfectly with Cornelia's personality and elegance but football is too "basic" for her in my opinion). Also they made Taranee so edgy and unnecessary rude in the reboot. Also the storytelling was somehow... messy.

Have you read the reboot comics yet and what did you think about them?

I haven't read them because I don't have any access to them whatsoever and I'm not really interested in spending my money on them

But I have seen others talking about it and I do know a fair bit about the reboot and I agree with all that you said,also is it just me who doesn't even remember reboot Irma and Hay Lin? Like in the original comics and the show they were easily one of the most memorable parts but in the reboot it's like they're just...there to me idk

All of it felt SO last minute I won't lie,I absolutely love W.i.t.c.h and I think that both W.i.t.c.h and Winx are unique properties that just so happened to have the same mega-succesful inspirations so I'm not saying one copied the other but...I fear they made this because they heard about the Winx reboot and wanted to be petty

Hi , it's my first post lol

I talked with a fan here and thanks to him I actually just discovered there's a new CEO for Disney

He's gonna be take control on March 18th so less than a week

Why it's huge news ?

Because I did some research and he was a fan favorite and always looks for fans opinions and Disney is actually looking back and experiencing the old magical girls type of shows

And I heard that he revived the X-Men 97 show with the same animations but modernized

So yeah if he sees how we want W.I.T.C.H. to be back and see it's records because W.I.T.C.H. was popular in some US and Asian places

Then it's surely gonna be back and even better he can do the season 3 with the same old artstyle but with a modern twist Until then we'll have to wait for a official news

So yeah what do you guys think about this and if there's anything wrong I said or any mistakes feel free to correct me

Now that you said, I actually don't remember at all how were Irma and Hay Lin like in the reboot!! I remember that the comic was more focused on Will and Elyon, and because I was so angry about what they did to Cornelia and Taranee they're more clearly in my mind. But it was at least one year ago when I read it so... But in the og series Irma and Hay Lin definitely stood out more!

I know right, I was also thinking that it's a weird coincidence that suddenly both of the series will get their reboots around the same time Both of them had their twenty something anniversaries lately tho, but it was still a weird coincidence since there haven't been anything new related to W.i.t.c.h. for years (as far as I know). I know that they recently made an anniversary special issue of the first comic but I think it was a radio silence before that for such a long time.

But nowadays it kinda feels like that the reboots are a huge trend: Hannah Montana got the anniversary episode, reboots of many Disney movies have been made and many animes like Tokyo Mew Mew and Sugar Sugar Rune have got a rebooted anime versions. The 20th anniversary seems to be such a memorable number. Well, I'm really excited about the reboots of those animes anyway so I won't complain and even though with Winx and Witch I will always prefer the og versions, I'm still curious to see what they have created.
