I've been checking their account almost daily to see if they posted any new dolls bc I agree they're incredible!!! Just perfection honestly, the closest any doll, OOAK or not has ever been to capturing the og art style

yeah those are atrocious... they dont even look like winx except for the dolls' faces

i guess my biggest disappointmemt with the reboot dolls as that i was hoping to use them as bases to customise into the the og magic winx forms. i'll have to still try theat (when i have way more practise )

I'm slowly but surely starting up my collection of dolls again! I plan on collecting anything that interests me -- Right now that's Monster High, Ever After High, Winx, Bleeding Edge Goths, and the occasional Rainbow High or Barbie.
I currently have the Gore-ganizer Draculaura doll, and I really want to get the Cleo. I use her coffin for my makeup
Growing up I had the Season 2 Bloom doll with the light-up wings. Currently looking online to see if I can get her again for a reasonable price... But may go the OOAK route with thrifted MH/Barbie dolls if that doesn't pan out. I agree with what someone else here said about only OOAK artists truly being able to capture the Winx style, but the original dolls still have a special place in my heart.

I think the Giochi Preziosi dolls are way cuter than the Mattel ones. For some reason, the Mattel dolls had really small eyes and looked a bit more adult? Not sure how to describe it. I just wish they had proper articulation, I love poseable dolls.

I agree..to a small degree. I think the Giochi Preziosi dolls have worse quality and have way less articulation. The Mattel ones were clearly inspired by that "fashion sketch" style Winx Club has,it probably had some inspiration from Bratz dolls as well

I suppose the ideal would be somewhere in the middle, with more articulation. The mattel dolls have bendy arms, but their legs don't move, from what I remember.
The new reboot dolls seem to only have articulated legs... I'm not a fan of the reboot at all, but if they had at least been fully articulated, they would be fun to change into original series dolls.
