I was very wrong,it's actually been a pretty nice year for music looking back on it! Now I don't think it beats anything from 2024 because that was genuinely one of the best years of music we have ever gotten if you ask me. Also the new songs for the reboot came out this year,I'm not the biggest fan of the soundtrack because it just didn't intrest me the way that previous soundtracks did however I admit it is somewhat of a solid soundtrack however Step Into The Dark is a stand out because of how genuinely good it really is,the trap like sound of the song makes it sound a bit dated however for if I remember correctly,Winx Club's first villain sonh it leaves a great impression even if it sounds more like it was made in 2016 than actual songs made in 2016 but then again this reboot has been delayed since forever so the fact we got the final product is something I'm grateful. What is everybody else's opinion on the reboot soundtrack and the music that came out this year? I'd love to know!

The songs from the secret of the lost kingdom give me soo much nostalgia and are one of my top fav songs from winx club

I know! They're so good,I love that movies soundtrack so much. Though "Stand Up" always confused me because it definitely doesn't fit the sound of the album,I heard that Elisa just tried out something new because why not but Iginio loved it so much he asked for it to be added on the album. Since this is the same person who changed Layla's name to Aisha so last second that only the Italian dub used that name so I wouldn't be too shocked.

I personally really like the World of Winx songs. Dreamix really stood out to me because of the dreamy feeling. The harmonization in the beginning is followed by the starting beat that straps you in for the song. A big part of Winx club songs is the use of (We, Let's, My, ect), which invites us in and gives the vibe that we're part of the story too. The reptition in the end of the song really gives that dreamy feeling. I feel like with the reboot, the focus is so much on the pop, electronic modern element, causing it to sound really chaotic to me, but Dreamix and Onryrix execute that this season is going to be about dreams, and if you were to show this to someone who knows nothing about winx club I think they would get the dreamy vibe from the song.

I wouldn't say there even IS a focus on...anything really to come out of the reboot if I'm being honest

However I definitely agree,the Dreamed and Onyrix songs might not be my favorite Winx songs of all time but they are definitely in the top 20-30

Speaking of the reboot what is everyone's thoughts on the new soundtrack? I...have not checked it out yet so I'm gonna stay out of the conversation about that
