Yes, both rom-coms! The book could also be fantasy, but it's more romance. As for the drama, I either watch it on dramacool or kissasian. Right now, I'm using kissasian . cam :D

I'm currently watching a kdrama too on Amazon Prime, it's Newtopia, but since it's with zombies I won't really go into details, it's a sort of comedy too though, horror comedy.

I used to watch a lot of kdramas but with college finished and now the website and my animation project I haven't had a lot of time to watch anything else, although I have a watchlist increasing in My Drama List by the week :problem:

I think You can go into bit more detail. I mean warm bodies was pg-13 and it was about zombies, so it's all about how You frame it, so You don't break your own rules ;)

Oh the post uni slump, suddenly the 24h is actually short!

The kdrama finished today, so I just finished watching it.
I actually enjoyed it a lot. /houra// The difference with warm bodies is that it wasn't very gory, but Newtopia is. It's very "dumb" on the human characters, dumber than warm bodies but the zombies were ruthless and very visual, to the point newtopia is actually +18 just for how visual it is, despite it being a comedy 60% of the time. One of the soldiers get their eye pierced and it lands on the female lead so... uh, yeah they showed it all

Not my favorite kdrama, I'm usually into the serious ones and supernatural/sci-fi/fantasy type. But it was still good, I'll give it 6.5/10. :)

We need to adapt "Warm Bodies" as a reference point to judge/discuss zombie movies/series, cause it worked pretty well
And absolutely thanks for the review! It told me, that it's not for me - dumb characters are an instant "no" (litterally the reason I couldn't get through Fallout series).

So, which title from your list You're going to watch now?

When it comes to k-dramas, yes. A bit of drama, a bit of rom-com. My favourite is Romance is a Bonus Book, it mixes romance and books (working at a publishing house), which is something I love. Overall, I love k-dramas because they're all so different from what's produced in my country or the USA, for example. They touch on so many different themes, realities, and jobs and everything. :D

Oh, so kinda like "Booshops and Bonedust" though this one is also fantasy :D
Yeah, k-dramas, no matter the in-genre do have different sensibilites from US and European productions for sure... And I'd say, even the grusome ones, are bit more warm. Though the characters also can be too unrealistic in their own unique way...

Oh I managed to save it  I think it was meant to cost an equivalent of 12 euro, but it's actually about €9, and it is really good quality. I'm glad it's about 10 volumes. It's a good lenght, but it will also take about 2 years to finish, since it's published in 2 months cycle...

I hope You don't mind me shortning your qoute, it's just to make the posts more consize...

I don´t know if it really will be 10 volumes but somewhere in between. And I don´t mind :D

Salomea wrote:Yeah, all those images are uncomfortable... She wasn't block, luckily, but she knows plenty people, who were. She sells sculptural silver jewellery. Everytime she uses shells, those pieces are flagged and hidden from her gallery, cause apparently someone chocked on abalone and now etsy marks it as dangerous, even when it's jewellery and not food... And obiously there is more of such fun ideas...

Oh, sounds very interesting! She must put a lot of time in it in_love_

Sadly Etsy turned into a weird half real artists and half scam side. As far as I know there´s no other way to sell besides Etsy :ehmeh::
The only other website I can think of is Instagram. She could gain more popularity through Reels for example. But maybe your friend is already doing that.

Salomea wrote:Aw sorry your friend didn't listen... But it's great You tried to stop him anyway. Specially that he was more likely to loose money on it rather than make it... And yeah, the althorithm probably read your comment as interest and engagement...
It might be better to mark them as scams, which they are. Instagram will probably not remove them, but maybe will show You less...
You know what, I am glad I got rid of my account there!

Did you see the recent Ghibli Trend? People put photos on them on an AI generator to get a custom Ghibli picture. It makes me really sad seeing it. Hayao Miyazaki himself said that he dislikes AI and that it´s an insult to art itself.

I´d like to leave Instagram too but I´m too much intertwined with the people there. I have a little artist community there I communicate with and I like to share my art. It´s not easy but there´s sadly no other app

But be happy about leaving Instagram! Also Tiktok. Glady never had that. Wouldn´t start now

Salomea wrote:As for BP, it's basically whichever I click first, cause compared to what's in now, they are pretty tame and easy... And in all fairness, I haven't dance in some time...

Some weeks passed. Did you get into dancing again? zao_zao

That would be the ideal case. Sadly the reality looks different as you said. You know, the inner city here is so crowded, there are a lot of empty shops since years. There are so many opportunities and a lot of people here asked for more parks, trees, anything. What do we get? Another hotel. My city isn´t that big. We´ve several hotels. And they build even more. For what? There´s no demand. Wasted opportunities in general. I feel like the money goes where it´s not neccessarily needed :ehmeh:: But that´s a huge topic.

I´ll try to do that next time! :D

Mangaka was Jiro Taniguchi and scipt author Jean-David Morvan, which might qualify it as a comic. It has a comic format, but at the same time it was published here by manga publisher. Also it's not exactly that the manga died right after the first volume, but given how much he worked on and how much time it takes to make a comic, especially in an international cooperation, I couldn't tell if their cancelled the project, or if next volume was in works, but on a low priority...

I see! Thanks for telling me! I´ll check it out!

  Reminds me of how I walked into a street lamp while texting. My sister saw that and laughed at me. Later I saw that I texted:"gggggg". My sister still makes fun of it

As for me, I've been locking on a sketch, but it takes far longer than it should and I know it has some issues, but I think I rather leave them in, cause otherwise I would just need to start all over with a blank page...

Oh I know, I felt the same, I've spent as much time outside as I could, even just sitting outside on a park bench and writting in the evening. :D
And it's raining again! I NEEED MORE SUN!

Could you share a sketch of yours? We often talked about it but since now I never saw a drawing from you

There are no mistakes just happy accidents or what did Bob Ross say :geek:

Sun is coming back here! And it´s so warm! Love it! in_love_
