Sadly Etsy turned into a weird half real artists and half scam side. As far as I know there´s no other way to sell besides Etsy 
The only other website I can think of is Instagram. She could gain more popularity through Reels for example. But maybe your friend is already doing that.

Oh she does. She has insta, but I think she only films herself for pain tutorials. I think I can say that she is pretty established at this point and spends good part of the year flying world and giving classes.

Did you see the recent Ghibli Trend? People put photos on them on an AI generator to get a custom Ghibli picture. It makes me really sad seeing it. Hayao Miyazaki himself said that he dislikes AI and that it´s an insult to art itself.

Yeah, I've seen it, and honestly it doesn't really look right
It looks like some trying to trace the original and still failling at it. Especially, that in actuality no two Ghibli films look the same. People working on them changed possitions and they always pushed themselves, so trying to homoginise it into one "style" just gives You that off-kilter effect of "generic anime" that they've got. It also looks awfully flat.

But yeah, I think Ghibli could get after them for illegal use of their materials and infornging on the brand recognision by assiosating the "product" with the Ghibli brand...

I´d like to leave Instagram too but I´m too much intertwined with the people there. I have a little artist community there I communicate with and I like to share my art. It´s not easy but there´s sadly no other app 

But be happy about leaving Instagram! Also Tiktok. Glady never had that. Wouldn´t start now 

Yeah, I used to have one too, but those were mainly people, who migrated from dA. Still, it felt way more loose and less spontanous.

Still, I just realized, I don't see people's artworks anyway cause the algoritm pushes first other stuff and punishes You for not posting constantly. And as result I actually stopped posting altogether... Plus the idea that I now need to Glaze, or Nightshade the pic first isn't helping...

Do You have the community gathered around art or fandom? And also are You sure, that your friends there don't have also other medias?

I kinda hope, that I might find some people back on old channels or on bluesky.

Also I'm halfway in getting rid of fb - as in I reached out to half of the people there asking about alternative communication methods : D (also deleted all posts and photos, but the avatar one). But goodness it takes ages!

Some weeks passed. Did you get into dancing again? 

Not much I'm afraid, though I've been watching Abracadabra vid, not for the Gaga's chorography though. There is this moment, when dancers do the pirouet and I was trying to learn from their performance, cause I can't do it for the life of me. Though it seems I'm progressing with balet anyhow. I've basically managed to do front split on both sides, so there's that.

But how about You? How's the dancing going and did You find any new song You like to dance to?

That would be the ideal case. Sadly the reality looks different as you said. You know, the inner city here is so crowded, there are a lot of empty shops since years. There are so many opportunities and a lot of people here asked for more parks, trees, anything. What do we get? Another hotel. My city isn´t that big. We´ve several hotels. And they build even more. For what? There´s no demand. Wasted opportunities in general. I feel like the money goes where it´s not neccessarily needed  But that´s a huge topic.

Same, same. Like they are building either badly design for the purpose office buildings (which are then 3/4 empty for years, if not for ever), or shoebox-size flats, which are also not what people need :/

I´ll try to do that next time! 

Next time You go for a walk but like seriously You can track what style are most churches, or old houses in your town and area, for example. Also maybe your town have like a historical, or cultural association, which organises tours for locals to show some lesser known, but interesting spots, that You can take?

Welcome, though it's a cute, but not that great story, though. So don't go out of your way for it.

It seems I'll be continuing with reading unfinished stories, since it seems the author of Frieren is in bad health and needs to retire. I didn't want to check, if they clarified the issue, the author are dealing with. I feel like it's soo not my business, but I really wish him best.

I think now the reasons of my fear for long series are clear...

Sun is coming back here! And it´s so warm! Love it! 

I will, I promise I will shortly, but I got so unused to taking pics, that it will take me a moment (also the camera in my tablet is not great).

Here Sun is appearing and dissappearing and also it used to be warmer and I want light jacket/sweater weather.
