Hello everyone! zao_zao

I've noticed that many users on our forum have been asking about the best ways to share images in their posts, probably because it's also been too long and we're not used to how the official forum worked.

Whether you're showing off fan art, sharing screenshots, or just want to spice up your forum discussions with visuals, uploading images can sometimes be tricky. Therefore, I’ve put together a simple guide on how to upload pictures using a few popular image-hosting websites. I'll walk you through the steps for using Imgur, Postimages, Imgbb, and DeviantArt to make sure your images appear seamlessly in your forum posts.

Each platform has its own way of handling uploads, so I'll explain how to use each one step-by-step. in_love_

1. Imgur
1. Go to Imgur.
2. Click on the "New Post" button at the top.
3. Drag and drop the image you want to upload, or click "Choose Photo/Video" to select a file from your device.
4. After the image uploads, right-click on it and choose "Open image in a new tab/window."
5. Copy the URL of the image from the new tab.
6. Come back to the forum and click in reply/new topic.
7. Use the [img] BBCode to insert the image. Example:
Code: Select all
[img]URL of the image copied from Imgur[/img]

8. Submit the message, and your image will appear in the forum.

Note: It should be less than 700x700 in height and width.Otherwise, leave it as a URL without the [img] BBCode.

2. Postimages
1. Visit Postimages.
2. Click on the "Choose Images" button and select the image you want to upload.
3. After uploading, you'll see a few link options. Look for "Direct link."
4. Copy the "Direct link" provided.
5. Come back to the forum and click in reply/new topic.
6. Use the [img] BBCode to insert the image. Example:
Code: Select all
[img]URL of the image copied from Postimages[/img]

7. Submit the message, and your image will appear in the forum.

Note: It should be less than 700x700 in height and width.Otherwise, leave it as a URL without the [img] BBCode.

3. ImgBB
1. Head over to ImgBB.
2. Click the "Start Uploading" button and select the image you want to upload.
3. After the image uploads, click on it to open the image.
4. Right-click on the image and choose "Open image in a new tab/window."
5. Copy the URL from the new tab.
6. Come back to the forum and click in reply/new topic.
7. Use the [img] BBCode to insert the image. Example:
Code: Select all
[img]URL of the image copied from ImgBB[/img]

8. Submit the message, and your image will appear in the forum.

Note: It should be less than 700x700 in height and width.Otherwise, leave it as a URL without the [img] BBCode.

4. DeviantArt
1. Visit DeviantArt and log in (if you already have an account).
2. Upload your image by clicking the "Submit" button (usually found in the top menu).
3. Once the image is uploaded, view your uploaded artwork.
4. Right-click on the image and select "Open image in a new tab/window."
5. Copy the URL of the image from the new tab.
6. Come back to the forum and click in reply/new topic.
7. Use the [img] BBCode to insert the image. Example:
Code: Select all
[img]URL of the image copied from DeviantArt[/img]

8. Submit the message, and your image will appear in the forum.

Note: It should be less than 700x700 in height and width.Otherwise, leave it as a URL without the [img] BBCode.

Hopefully now it will be much better to upload and show pictures in the forums! /houra//

Finally, I also recommend using https://www.blogger.com/ as an alternative. By creating a blog on Blogger, you can upload and store pictures indefinitely. It’s a fantastic way to create a personal archive of images that you can access and share at any time. In fact, that’s how I’ve managed to preserve all the pictures from the old official website; they’re still safe and sound in my Blogger account. This method is particularly useful if you want to keep your images accessible for the long term.

Have a lovely day,

Hello everyone! zao_zao

Great news! We now have a way to resize images directly in your posts using a new code. You can now post images in any size you want without worrying about the dimensions. :D

How to Use the New Resizing Code:

Simply use the code:
Code: Select all
[image(number, number)][/image]
to resize your image to your desired dimensions.

For example:
Code: Select all
[image(700,700)][/image]

This will resize your image to 700x700 pixels, making it perfectly fit within the forum layout.

Example:

User Posted Image
(Image's original size is 2000x2000!)

Now, you can freely share images of any size, and they'll be resized right within your posts! /houra//

If you have any questions or run into any issues, feel free to reach out.

With love,
