Winx Club Reboot - Share your opinion !

Oh yeah, the trial is not very well explained... Maybe the others had their own trial in another place? Idk. In the original this was more a personal decision, I liked it. But it's not wrong, just... A bit unexplained ajajajja.

Have to say I agree with Juleic in the overall note, for me is a 5/10 too. I criticied the reboot a lot, but is true the action scenes are more intense than in the 5-6 season for example. But this is not an excuse for the images to look so cheap sometimes
The story was in some way engaging (i saw all the eps in a day lol), which didn't happen to me with the 5-6-7 seasons. Also, for me Tecna and the teachers are amazing. Maybe the worse is Palladium, but didn't hate him.
Another point I think we didn't talk about is the music. For me is good, in the style of the past seasons. I love the "Winx Forever" song and like the ones that appear in the episodes (I think the singer is Elissa Roselli, my beloved). The worse in my opinion is the new "Under the sing of Winx" version... I heard the singer is popular, but feel the song is not for her. And this new like... ¿Disco vives? Not a fan.

However I still believe that there is a lot of improvenment to do, as I said in the first post.

Note: if you watch it in Castillan Spanish, the points go down to a 3/10 maybe. What a horrible singer we have lol.

Just a small correction there, we did get an explanation, which I personally didn't like much because it made bloom seem like a bigger deal instead of a chance coincidence that happened in 1 in a 100000 odds.

Faragonda was going to search for a fairy on earth, Stella eavesdropped that and told Flora and they went themselves to get Bloom. It's a like 30 second scene so it's normal to forget.

Why did she want to do it at all? What's the purpose ?? haha
Did Faragonda mention the exact place where they had to search for her? (Not to mention they act like they already know each other and I don't remember Bloom showing any sign of surprise. Same for her parents, they like didn't care where she was going... lmao)
Bloom is still from Domino here or is the a fairy from Earth?
How did Faragonda know that she had to search for her on Earth?
In the original, it was believed that Earth fairies do not exist or something, the whole 4th series was based on the Earth fairies' lore
If they changed it, it makes me sad.............

I also find it odd that she's introduced to the "new girl" but they are somehow all doing things from 1st year at the same time as her. For example, Bloom is supposed to have arrived late, she's the only one in her 1st year class introducing herself to Wizgiz, and all the others knew they were fairies or witches, but then they had the trial to know if they were fairy or witches (or wizards/warlocks) and it was supposed to be for 1st years, but... the Winx already did it, and there was A LINE, Damien didn't know either. So like, what happened there??? Is it only for those who can't transform? I'd like more clarity.

I think that in the original it was the same
Stella was older than other girls but she still attended the same classes with them. She was expelled for one year but still they didn't give us enough details. Just remember how everyone forgot about Varanda too

As for the og Winx Club. I'm not sure, it's clear Stella knew her stuff contrary to the others in certain season 1 episodes. Also, she started on her first day like everyone else, she didn't arrive late. This Bloom did.

I just checked episode 2 and Faragonda straight up says "there's a cerminony tomorrow to welcome all the new students to Alfea" so it's supposed to be for all of the freshmen, but THE WINX are freshmen.

This was not explained yet, I suppose it will be in the second part of the reboot. But my feeling according to the reaction of Bloom when she sees a Marion statue, and the last conversation between Bloom and Sky, is that she is going to be still from Domino.

I watched the first five episodes today and just shared my opinion in a similar topic on the Russian forum, but let me say a few words here too...

I'm considering watching the rest of the episodes because I'm interested in the reimagining of the story. For example, I liked how they explained why fairies and witches study under the same roof...

However, overall...

This all looks very very raw. It feels like everything was done in a terrible rush. And if that's the case, then I feel sorry for everyone who worked on this series. Because I believe they're good professionals, but it feels like they all didn't have enough time to finish everything and show us what they are capable of. And the final product... Ahem. I don't believe they don't see that this all looks bad. Come on, even a child can spot all those SERIOUS inconsistencies in editing. For example, when a character is standing in one pose in one frame, and in a completely different one in the next. Or when evening turns to night in one frame. Releasing a series with such noticeable mistakes for such a big company should be a shame, sorry. I don't even want to look for something good in a reboot after this.

Already my 3rd post but it was ok for the most part but i'm missing that charm the og had, which sucked because I can see it somewhere. I'm mostly not liking how the show looks in animation as it feels very stiff in some places and shows how rushed the show is. But doesn't mean it's all bad I really do like some of the new designs specifically Tecna and her new look it's probably my favorite reboot design with a second being Stella's
That's just my opinion though!, I really want this reboot to be amazing even with some of it's flaws it can be improved upon. All for now until more episodes drop.
