Crystal - thank You so so much. I mean it. /flowerpower/

Do you have good memories about your cat that you might want to share?

Maybe it was more peaceful outside because „something“ wanted you to grief more or less in silence. I‘m not religious but I believe in some kind of signs from the people that aren‘t there anymore to say:“I‘m still there.“ /flowerpower/

Thank You. Yeah, I have plenty of good memories, cause he was a sweet, silly cat. For one, he really liked watching birds (I don't know, if he'd even want to catch them, I think he'd be too afraid of them fluttering their wings actually). He liked them so much, he would not only sit in the window for hours, but would even come running to the room and watch tv, if he heard bird noices from nature documentaries. But the funny memory is him watching Piper (a short animated film on Disney). And not just once. If the movie was on, he'd come and sit under tv, watching intentively. That was just so adorable.

Btw You've gave me an idea, I am going to make a little drawn/written album about him and few stories of his life. Thank You! /flowerpower/

Oh my, how cute is that? Your cat truly loved birds. How sweet!

And sounds like a good idea! Maybe you find pics from them on your phone that you could print out. I wish you the best! They´ll forever be in your heart /flowerpower/

I´m literally waiting for better weather. I hate this rainy grey weather outside. At least I can make it cozy on my home.
Do you prefer turning on several litte lights or just the big one for the room? :)

Thank You so much! Yeah I probably will print some.

Yeah, hate that grey weather too! If it's raining, it's still bit better than when it's just endless clouds and wind, but only bit.

And that's a good thing. Do You put up candles, some sesonal decorations, or just tones of cozy blankets?
I definitely prefer small, warm lights over big ones. And I trully detest those " real sunlight" bulbs, that shine strong as camera flash with a cold light (that they call "neutral"). How about You?
And don't worry telling me You like them, I know people, who do and we're still friends.

Haha and exactly today it was storming outside and there was a lot of wind
But especially then I love to watch out of the window. Yesterday it was snowing which is really rare here and I went for a long walk. If I´d have to choose I´d rather have snow than rain and wind all day.

Yeah, you got it! I have two string of lights in my room and two lamps. I also got into seasonal decorating. Even if it´s just a little bit. I crafted a snowman out of a single white sock. It stands on my windowsill. And I craft flowers out of pipe cleaners. I made blue one´s and put them on my table. But besides that I just have my regular decoration. But that´s fine for me

No I don´t really like big light. I only turn it on if I´m searching for something or clean up my appartment. (Besides the kitchen of course. There I need the big light)

I prefer warm lights over neutral one´s. On the other side, neutral light is really good for concentrating!
How about you?

Snow is definitely the more visually pleasing of the two, but I guess after some time You'd be sick of it too  Still, great that You could take advantage of it with the walk. Though I guess no building snowman?

Your lighting choices sound exactly as my sister's. If she could she'd put up fairy light everywhere. I'm more of soft, gentle overhead light, or reading lamp & candles person myself. ;)
Yeah, big light has its use, though if You have a good light design, You can go without strong overhead even in a kitchen. Kinda what I have in my apartment and it really works. Though, obviously, I am not behind it. But You're right, that it's probably better to have the option.

A snowman from a sock! That sounds super creative! Also it's super cool You're making your own deco instead of buying ready-mades! Do You think You will be making something for the spring? Or maybe planting a flower, or that sort of things?

Do You still have the snow, or has it melted already?

Salomea :(

I know I didn’t say anything at the time, but I read this when you posted it, and it really hit me. I almost cried hearing about your cat when I first saw it, I wanted to reply then, but I decided not to or I'd cry for sure.

I have two dogs, and just imagining them go someday really scares me. I’m so attached to them... one is all about affection, Kiko, and Mia, the "tiny" one, just loves jumping and playing around. It’s hard to even think about losing them, especially since one is already 10 and the other is turning 5. It feels like they just got here yesterday.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine how hard it must have been, especially with everything surrounding it. I hope you’re feeling a little better now that some days and time have passed. Just know your love and care for him really mattered. Sending you lots of warmth. /flowerpower/

Thank You and yeah, I get it. I wouldn't know what to write back either... :(

Cherish every moment with them then, than don't let anyone tell You, that 600 photos is excessive. It's not, trust me on that! And give them pats and scratches from me me. ^^

You know, I am actually more worried about my other cat, cause they were cousins, born few weeks apart and always together. Recently, they mainly chased and "stalked" each other, but still, and now he's alone :( Though, maybe I'm just overly worried, as he seems to be doing fine. Yeah, I am probably worried over nothing.

No, you're absolutely right, 600 photos really isn’t excessive. I have so many videos, so many pictures of them and I can't delete them for the life of me. They’re memories, and no one should tell you otherwise. It's a way to keep them with us and remember every single moment that made us laugh and enjoy our time with them. :(

Honestly every time I see something sad regarding a pet I just hug Mia so much, it always makes me feel bad. :(

As for your other cat, it’s normal to feel worried. I would be too to be honest. My grandmother had two cats and when one of them died the other stopped eating for weeks, barely touched the food...
If he seems fine, that’s a good sign though, but keeping an eye on him and giving him a extra attention isn't bad at all. You’re not worrying over nothing, don't say that, it just shows you care deeply. /flowerpower/

You may be right. I´m not used to snow anymore. Maybe at some point I´d be fed up  Unfortunately not. Because it´s rarely that cold here (like minus degree) I don´t even own gloves. But! I found a stick and drew something on the ground. Some snowflakes  The snow just melted on the same day. It rained and hours later everything was gone

Maybe you´re right and I just need comfortable big lights. The one in my kitchen is really white and kinda uncomfortable. Dunno why  I love candles too! But I don´t use them that often. Do you use normal candles or with scent? Do you like to decorate in general?

I have a lot of freetime right now and I try to think twice before buying too much stuff I actually don´t need. Especially because Instagram, TikTok, Youtube seduce you to overconsumption :ehmeh::

For Halloween last year I build ghosts out of air dry clay for me, my sister and mother. I wanted to make them seasonal hats so you can keep the ghost as decoration the whole time! I planned making winter hats and maybe a little flower that can be placed on the head
