Well at this point You might start thinking about laptop... also cause games are still bit cheaper. So after initial uptake, You'll be better of in the long run. Unless all You'd want to play is nintendo, then there is no saving on anything ever.

Also I don't really see the point of getting switch 2. It doesn't seem revolutionary and right now, there aren't games for it that You can play on the earlier consol (or get on PC...).

Besides, while Nikki is humongous for mobile game, PC games are way to huge too... like 100GB :/ I mean HL is apparently 85GB, but then again I wouldn't play it, even if I got it for free for what I've heard about its production and storyline

I can't imagine the struggle of only playing on mobile, I would be so sad I couldn't play many of my favorite games
I'll admit I only have a laptop and it can run a lot of games but anything like...The Witcher, Baldur's Gate, Skyrim, etc. is too powerful for it </3
I'm lucky I like some older games!

I also agree on the Switch 2, the original doesn't even have that many games compared to other consoles (as far as I know) nor are the graphics outdated...But they need to get more money I guess?

What happened in the production? Also I agree with you on Laptops and PCs being better for the long run,and they do have more storage and usually better graphics and I do like bigger screens,maybe one day I will find a nice one for cheap but it's a want and not a need so if I find one I will most likely buy it later

I checked the price of Steam Deck,it's basically a console with all games from the gaming website... well,Steam. The cheapest I could find was 100 and it seem kind of damaged...and I am talking USD,yeah no chance I will playing Infinity Nikki or Hogwarts Legacy anytime soon...

Steam Deck is great! I am so happy with mine.
I looked for the price for a new one from Steam itself but the cheapest is €419,00. So expensive + you still have to pay the game prices

I bought mine 9 months ago. I think I paid €400 if I look back at my order history I thought I only paid somewhere in the €300
I was doubting for a while. Even wanted to buy a Switch in the begin. But I was so limited with my MacBook that I thought it was worth buying. And it was. But someday I still want to get a pc

I have good news! I found a Steam Deck for 300 on EBay,perfect condition! I'll try to save up for it to buy it!


Oh,I feel for you. PCs are objectively the best console out there and they are not cheap at all but maybe one day you will find a nice one for cheap you can afford that isn't more expensive than most people's rent
