As for the weather - yeah it changes a lot. Here it's also grey and rainy, but also for last 6-8 weeks there's the south wind. And a strong one too. Usually in winter You'd have norther on east wind. South wind often came right round solstice and would last for few days, scaring people with possibility of green christmas, but it wouldn't be for weeks as is this year. But yeah weather is becoming unpredicable, two years back in Feb for the whole month it was warm, blue sky with no wind watsoever to then turn rainy trade winds in march, while last year the winter didn't want to let go till mid spring... And yeah summers are getting weird too...
Sas for perfect temp. 25-27. It can be lower if I've to work outside, but preferably not hotter.

Yeah, the weather has been pretty unpredictable lately. Honestly, even I'd be scared if we had a green Christmas. It's hard to imagine christmas with sun and warm temperatures, I have no idea how Brazil does it.
I really feel the same way, winters are dragging on until spring, I remember our May being very cold still so I feel like the seasons are losing their rhythm a bit.

I hate gray days. I can find beauty in them in winter and all, but every other season it's just depressing for me. I really associate this website with sunny days. My childhood was a bit hard, especially due to my father, and this website, or the official old version , was my refugee. I remember waking up, opening the windows and the sun shining on the entire room, either my mom's, the living room or my own bedroom, and I remember browsing the website, playing the mini-games, talking on the forum or just casually playing WA with the sun illuminating the whole place. Those are my "brightest" memories, really.
So far, ever since I released the website, I haven't yet been able to fully experience that. My current bedroom has no windows and the days have been REALLY grey, even when it's sunny, it's not without clouds clouding the sun every few minutes. I really, really want to experience that bliss again of waking up and spending a day here, in Winx Adventure, talking to all of you and just feel the warmth of the sun on the entire room. It might take a while, but I'm confident it's coming eventually.

To be honest, I really have to thank you with all my heart! Since some years I really have sleeping problems. Sometimes I sleep too much or too less because I overthink a lot. Since some weeks I check out the website reguarly, especially in the evening, put some winx music on and write in the forum. It calms me down so much and I´m just happy to be here and connect with you guys! I love the vibes here! We´re all connected to our love to Winx

It's really touching to hear how much comfort and joy the website and forum bring to you, I felt the same exact way. I thought about it from time to time and I was so fond of it... this project really is my life to be honest. I'm really happy with the final result and happy with how it's turning out. It’s amazing how something as simple as coming back here, even if it's not the old one, can still have such a calming and grounding effect.

You know it‘s like a wave that goes up and down with the sleep. I figured that I also can‘t sleep much if I‘m sleeping somewhere else and not home (like for the first time). Sports definitely helps and I try to write in my diary from time to time so my head is getting more empty. Sometimes if it‘s really bad I take Melatonin. Ok, get ready for a huge text incoming :
The first time I tried to create a similar website was in 2011. Back then, I created a Forumotion forum using the old announcement pictures (the same ones featured on this website) and called it Winx Club Online 2. This led to me being banned for a month and the moderator forced me to delete that Forumotion (which I did), and he even lied, saying it was against the old website's terms of service. Interestingly, in 2022, I stumbled upon the page on Wayback Machine and read through everything. It turns out there was no rule stating we couldn’t use the images or create something similar—it just clarified that all rights belong to Rainbow S.r.l. So he lied and lied hard to a kid while he was over 30 (another story but he did reveal his age, which was against the rules in the portuguese forum, to the minimods on the PT minimods area at the time, florita11 and margherita )
Over time, forums gained popularity among users. I like to think I sparked the trend because I was actively promoting my recreation on Italian, English, and Spanish forums before user-created forums became a thing. Forums became wildly popular, and the moderator who had banned me ended up leaving just two months after I was unbanned. This gave me the chance to try again, and this time, I was successful with my old Forumotion.
When Winx Adventure closed, I met Mathias/Mathiix, and together, we decided to recreate the entire website. In 2014, we managed to release a beta version of both WA and the main website.
Unfortunately, it only lasted a month due to the high costs of maintaining it (since we were teens and it was his parents paying... I mean, I pay about 110€ per year just for this website alone so I imagine it was the same for him). We went back to my Forumotion, where we recreated the website, but in 2018, Forumotion introduced a massive update that locked many style options behind expensive paywalls. The update caused everything to glitch, including the login system and the coins feature. Mathias became understandably frustrated and decided to step away, as he had been doing most of the work while I focused on CSS and visuals.
At that time, I had little knowledge beyond basic scripting and CSS, and I had no idea how to build a website without a free platform like Forumotion. Slowly but steadily, I began to learn. Went to college to Translation, took a semester of multimedia with web design and creation, and continued learning by myself. I eventually figured out how to create and install a phpBB forum, purchased a server and domain, and got help from Zenthons to get everything set up. I taught myself PHP, advanced scripting, database management, and more.
In 2021, I quietly launched the website with only the main page, announcing it to no one. From there, I built each page, eventually mastering how to implement a language system. Once that was in place, everything became more manageable. And now, here we are.
This website, among all the recreations I've worked on, holds the greatest value to me. It was built from scratch and transformed me from someone with zero knowledge into someone skilled and experienced in web design and development. The journey has felt like learning an entirely new language, and I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come in just four years.
I´m not in a good state of mind right now because I´ve much stuff to do, don´t know where to start and I kind of feel like I lost the orientation. My weekend is full and I´m super exhausted. On the one side I´m super excited for my birthday on monday because my best friend is driving 8 hours just to see me and I´ll celebrate with people I love but at the same time I feel so exhausted I don´t want to see anyone But! I´m gonna bake super tasty brownies today. At least something.
Juleic, you really touched my heart. I really enjoyed reading about your whole journey as an developer. You can be so proud of yourself and you never gave up even though there was someone getting in your way. It motivates me to keep going and do the stuff I enjoy.
It´s funny because back in my teenage years I also created some forums with xobor. Not Winx related but I had so much fun creating it. Sadly nowadays I forgot literally everything but I feel the excitement you´re talking about
