Can't save my avatar

I was updating my avatar yesterday but it doesn't seem to save. Whenever I leave the edit page, my avatar goes back to the default avatar I started with. Any tips on what I could be doing wrong?

I clicked on "Wear" but I do not have the green button with a camera on it...

I just found the camera! Didn't realize it was under the brown chest icon. Thanks for your help!!

First you buy clothes from the shop and only then you wear them in your inventory and only then you are allowed to save
