Why we can't change eye colors

I always wondered, why we can't change our eye colors, expect the one closed and one open eye (the one I'm wearing right now), it changes the eyeshadow instead.

Thanks for your question! As AsamiBrynn already mentioned, unfortunately, it's not currently possible to change eye colors (aside from the one-eye-open/one-eye-closed style) due to technical limitations. This has to do with how the visual assets are designed and implemented in the system.

Is it possible to have many eye colors in one purchase,like say I brought the eyes I am currently wearing,I get the exact same eyes but the eye colors are diffrent,like getting brown,pink,yellow eyes and etc in one go.

Normally, when you purchase a pair of eyes, it comes with the full set of eyeshadow colors. This means that if you want to change the eyeshadow color, you can simply switch it without needing to buy it again.

If you're referring to the eye color (the iris), as mentioned earlier, there are currently no other colors available.

No,I meant like let's say I bought an eye from the avatar it comes with many variations the diffrence being the color of the iris. Like buying one eye gives you many of the same eye but the diffrence being the color of the iris. When other colors ARE avaible,can we dö something similar. Or how the web avatar works in the official website.

If I get this right, you mean like, other eyecolors just working as a single purchase? If yes, isn't that how all eyes have been working so far, all items as a matter of fact. You buy one, you get all colors.

As for the eyes, I still think that if it becomes too hard, getting 3 eye sets for the same one might be the best approach, this way people can choose their eyes closed (eyeshadow), opened (eye color) and both (eyeshadow and eye color), maybe the third option could even be a wink instead, displaying the eye color and the eyeshadow. Since I talked to Asami yesterday I kept thinking about it the whole day and I still think it's still very early to define a plan but I do intend on getting at least some of that customization eventually so that the majority of users can be happy and have that customization they crave for for eyecolors and eyeshadows.
Although it's like I told Asami, it will really depend on my free time to try and make something more complex than just these 3 eyes. It's not that I don't want to, but the web avatar is interconnected by countless scripts. It's my first html5 & php game EVER so my approach wasn't the best but it's too late to modify everything now. Going over a change would require me to spend AT least weeks on it and if I find a "common" job in Portugal that'd be from 8 am to 5 or 6pm, leaving me with very few hours to truly work on it, so it's always nice to plan for a more down to earth approach that won't involve interfering with the code working right now.

The new categories "Pets" and "Paints" took me almost 3 months of work behind the scenes to ensure the web avatar would work flawlessly while I was live editing it and I still had some issues with rewards despite all preparations, for example. Each category have about 50,000 lines of coding and are connected to a total of 63 sub .php scripts linked to your accounts like username, id, money, purchase, item list...

Some of the plans for eye colors involve me changing quite drastically the way the web avatar works for make up system and that will take ages. So I can either slowly do the simple plan: 3 variations of the same eye or rework the entire system, risking bugs and glitches & maybe need to slow down drastically and keep you waiing out of nowhere if I start working. It's very hard for me to find a right answer here, but knowing that the web avatar is working fine right now, I am and will always be inclined towards the safest and also easiest option.
