oh wow, the AMOUNT of nostalgia for a game I barely played... I am speechless. ~

I'm not fully opposed to create Gardenia Park someday, probably with a few things differently since I don't remember the game and it's all based in videos and screenshots but I really am considering one day taking the time to hire someone to help me develop the avatars moving, walking and recreate it. In a very distant future though so don't expect anything now, first winx adventure.

OMG if you recreat a game like Gardenia Park my dream will come true! I remember playing it a lot but I know that it won't be for now.

I just wrote an introduction about myself on the Welcome section but I came to write here too so please add me on the list when you have time! I was an active user of from Winx's official website from the 2nd season themed version to winxclub online and the minigames, Gardenia park, the official forum and Winx Adventure were my childhood and super important to me <3 I can't even thank you enough for bringing back the full website and I was literally in tears yesterday when I saw the link to this site on some Winx facebook group :') The forum, Gardenia park and WA have been on my mind constantly since they're closed and I've really missed them! I'm super excited about all the nostalgia, avatar, WA and everything and if you one day bring Gardenia park back too I'll be in heaven!

Btw I found an old screenshot of the highscores of Flora's Garden and the 5th season themed website from 2012. These are from my old Finnish Winx-themed blog and you need to scroll down quite much to find them (I don't know yet how to post pictures here... ) They're after the date 13/10/2012.

And if I remember correctly I saw some kind of re-creation of the Winx site couple of years ago but it got shut down or something?? Was it done by you or by different fans? They tried to bring WA also but the whole site disappeared or I just couldn't find it anymore.

I saw someone's screenshot of old moderators and I remember at least harpa and mariposaa! I don't remember if I talked to them but at least I kept seeing them on the forum all the time And I also thought the mods were so cool and like super humans I had many friends on Gardenia park and WA but I don't remember their names anymore I should go through my old childhood diaries so maybe I could find something out! And I was really bad at English back then so I didn't talk that much But on the forum I was mostly active on the Fun zone and Chat zone, sometimes on Role play zone and School also. Someone tried to teach me Russian and Spanish and I tried to teach Finnish, which didn't go so well... Also some Finnish fans tried to make new topics in Finnish but they got deleted all the time And I remember that I tried to chat on Italian forum with google translate, without knowing ANY Italian lol...

It’s amazing to hear your story and how much this place means to you, especially knowing you were part of the original site’s community. Recreating this site has been a huge nostalgia trip for me too!

As for the previous attempt you mentioned, that was actually me and a friend, yeah. We tried bringing the site back on a free hosting platform (Forumotion), but it locked a lot of things behind paywalls in 2018, which COMPLETELY destroyed the website and made the experience pretty frustrating. They also cancelled the free domain they gave me back then.

My friend, who knew how to create the website and games back then, got upset when the site started falling apart and didn’t want to continue. He stopped paying for the server, and, well, life happened, and we ended up going separate ways. We're still friends but he's no longer interested.

But even after all that, I couldn’t give up on the dream of having it back. So, I decided to dive in deep – I went to university, took extra courses in web design and gaming, and kept pushing myself to learn everything I needed to make this happen. It took time, but here we are!

Oh I see, it's interesting to have an explanation because I was wondering what happened to the site! I really understand your frustration and it really sucks that you put so much effort on something that collapses later When I was a kid I followed many Finnish Winx blogs created by fans and some of them even coded their own fan blogs but later almost every single one of them had crashed and I think they had same kind of a problem than you did. It's sad because it'd be so cool to visit the pages but they don't exist anymore Maybe same happened with many international Winx fan pages, which I was following, because they disappeared too.

But it's so awesome that you kept going and I really appreciate all the effort you've put into this project!! It's so cool that you've taken so many useful courses, you're our next Tecna

Yeah, that's the terrible thing about a free hosting website, they could be gone at ANY moment or change things completely without caring about you. I learned that the hard way.
Forumotion still exists, but they locked 80% of features behind a paywall, if I wanted to have the website with the previous appearence, I had to buy premium (which was in brazillian currency and weren't converted to euros???) and re-add every script back, since the lock made all those features become empty. A lot, and I mean a lot of forumotion forums died because of that. The appearence got destroyed, most scripts stopped working and it was futile to keep that dying website going.
A lot of free host forums also died like prophpbb, where all italian users migrated to back then with terminator85 (the minimod).
There was also this host back then with russian users, it stopped working as well: http://winxtest.tforums.org/

Overall... everyone is just gone because of a free hosting, even my old attempt and that makes me really sad, because my website at the time had more than 4000 users, and at least 30 active per day... now it's been 6 years and a lot of people lost interest...

The good thing is that this website is being 100% paid and it's 100% built from scratch by me, so nothing can happen to it.

I made a Finnish Winx forum on a free forum site (I don't remember the name anymore) and out of sudden the forum just disappeared and if you clicked the link you ended up into some really shady quickie loan site. I got really scared and tried to erase all of the broken links from my Winx blog as fast as possible. They didn't even give me a chance to pay, they just destroyed everything. My forum wasn't that active tho but I wasn't a nice surprise at all.

And it sucks that you lost so many users We need to share this site more to different Winx facebook groups and on winxstagram (probably you've already done that tho ) But hopefully we get more users after the reboot! Maybe Lola from the Winx Forever podcast would be also interested in making a podcast about the re-creation!

I could do a post about this site on instagram since I've just been posting about the other nostalgic Winx minigames Speaking of the minigames, I talked about Attack to Magix game earlier, and how it crashed after the flashplayer died. But couple of days ago I found Attack on Magix which is still working!! https://www.numuki.com/game/attack-to-magix/ There're also other Winx minigames from the original 2008 version, like pet's volleyball game and some minigames from the Gardenia park era.

Ahhh it's so awful that this happened to you after lots of hard work and I'm so sorry to hear that! Seems like the destroyers don't care at all how much effort people have put into the websites
