I just realized... How on earth are you managing? Don't your fingers hurt? I wanted to play Assassin's Creed:Syndicate sometime too, but I doubt my fingers can manage with this tiny keyboard....

Very short bursts is how I manage I literally only play one level at a time and then I stop

I've never played Assassin's Creed, is it good?

Hi Salomea! I'm pretty sure we've met before on the old forums, how are you??

I haven't started knitting the jumper yet, but I'll be following the step by step sweater by Florence pattern. I haven't decided on a colour yet, but I'm thinking either a light/dark brown or a green maybe? I'm very indecisive when it comes to colour

Even the chunky wool itself is so expensive 😔 also, I saw someone buying thrifted knitted stuff and unravelling it to make their own stuff. But that's...alot of work

I saw that too! I've had to unravel stuff before but only small bits, I would not do a whole jumper without a winding thingy!!! Its so tiring and slow.

I'll definitely be buying my wool, but I picked one that's not too expensive and I've seen a lot of people like it.

I understand You are still in "preparatory" stage. I just wondered if You were already eyeing a particular pattern/style for the future. Yeah there are soo many colours to pick from! I know very little knitting, I've just made my partner a small, woollen blanket for holidays, and there were so many wools to choose from!

But besides that, how are You doing?
I'm well, though I probably just failed an exam, in a language school, I've still second attempt and besides I'm just studing for myself, so no worries anyway.

Assassin's Creed to me is what Tomb Raider is to you c: I adore the world-building. The one I own is set during the second industrial revolution in London, and it's awesome The other ones are in different settings too, like there's one set in ancient Greece

Preparatory stage is so scary because what if I pick the wrong thing? Also the pattern is literally called "step by step sweater" and I picked it mostly because it's my first big project and it comes with a video tutorial (and its free!).
Your partner must LOVE that blanket, wool is so so warm!

I'm well as well, although I feel like most days I do nothing but go to work, come home, then go to work again Really trying to find more joy in hobbies though.

I hope you didn't fail the exam! What language are you studying? It's really inspiring that you are studying just for yourself, and knowing more languages is so useful too!

You know, that is a great idea! I can maybe get a controller and use that, or just a full keyboard and just use it instead of my laptop's one.

That sounds like its such a nostalgic game for you <3 I hope you get to play it properly soon, without the annoying buttons!

Ah, that's good! Are you working on anything lately?

That's exactly what happened to me! Unravelling is no fun.
I'm working on two other scarves at the moment, but they're not that difficult or challenging, so I'll hopefully be done soon.
