I don't really collect dolls, but I do collect LPS! Maybe I should make my own topic for that...

I love LPS. I want to collect but I already collect so much and it cost me so much money already🙈 and I am saving for some dolls

Just popping in to say that I really enjoy reading about your collections.

I'm not a collector myself, as I only have few G1 Monster high dolls, three barbies from different lines and singular examples of other brands, but recently I found it fun to sew them outfits (Nothing good, but thst's not the point.)
Now, if I was a collector, the doll I would want to get is Fairy Hair Sindy (1996) for sentimental reasons

Try tube dress, or shirt dress, like mattle often does. My philosophy is - no one has to see it and dolls don't need to move, so if I can put it on and it stays, it's a success
Scrap materials are rather cheap and local tailor/seamstress often have a good stash to pick from, so experimenting and failing isn't that scary of a possibility. (Also, if You are a prim and proper person, You can get/use an actual doll clothing patterns. And that would make You a better person, that I'll ever be. )

I'm starting to collect more dolls! It's one of the hobbies I want to keep up, especially now I have a Draculaura from Monster High G3 and also some Slyvanian Family stuff (thanks mom!)

The first one is a Moxie girl I had them when I was a child but lost them like everything else

As Moxie is not for sale anymore, it's not new unfortunately

It's sad to see dolls from our childhood being not sold anymore.

I would LOVE to collect dolls and I check Ebay and other second hand websites as a NEED like food or air hoping I will find Glam Magic Enchantix Stella for cheap,I am currenly looking for the first wave G1 Frankie Stein,honestly her accesories matter a lot to me (maybe except for the bracelet.. I am not that big of a fan of it... ) but they are SO EXPENSIVE! don't even get me started with SDCC exclusice or the Skullector dolls. I just can't afford dolls but honestly I would LOVE to have a massive collection but the dolls lines I love are:

Winx Mattel Dolls,Winx Jakks Pacific Dolls,Winx Giochi Preziosi Dolls,Barbie,Bratz,Monster High,Ever After High,Monster High G3,Rainbow High Dolls BEFORE their soft reboot,Sailor Moon Dolls,W.i.t.c.h Dolls and lastly My Scene. I know it is a LOT,I really enjoy a lot of franchiseshad but which one is my favourite? I mean Winx and Barbie are the ones I have nostalgia for,the others pretty much teleported to my life in my preteenhood,probably the Winx Mattel Dolls,they were always great quality and never had their drowns compared to a lot of the others and never had a poorly received reboot (Monster High G2,Bratz dolls from 2010-2015,the last few dolls of Ever After High,The New Soft Reboot Of Rainbow High) And they always kept up with the quality and added AMAZING details,I gotta give them my applause,also I just feel drawn to the 4kids version even though I grew up with a dub that was ALWAYS based on the Cinelume script,also I just love them WAY too much.




But I would LOVE to know what other peoples opinions are!

Almost all dolls are so expensive right now. It's crazy😩

For me Barbie has nostalgia too and the Winx Mattel dolls. What a time it was back then, the quality was so good

I meant love to and am intrested in collecting dolls but due to a few economical issues right now,that's not really something I can pursue right now,this year my finances are going to improve so I might be able to start (If I can find dolls in second hand markets for a good price🥲)
