Oh my God I was reading through all of the replies on this topic and I love it. Someone asked if winx made an impact on their lives; let me tell you, I met the best people I know on this website.

Idk if anyone remembers, but there used to be an old forum on the official website. Then they made a new one where we lost all our topics and posts and everything. Yes, Im that old hahah. I hope anyone remembers the old official forum.

I met my now best friend on this website. We happened to live in neighboring countries and speak the same labguage (Im from Kosovo, shes from Albania). We met probably when we were 10-11, Im not sure. We had lost contact but we started talking again, so I went to meet her in person. I went to visit her every year. There is not a day that goes by that I dont talk to her. She moved to Austria last year, and for my bday I went to visit her and her husband with my husband. Yes, were old haha.

There were two other people on the old website that I met that unfortunately lost contact. One is named Alex (I dont remember her username on the official website) and the other was Natalia (her username used to be mariposaa on the official website). Both my bestie Ina (the one I mentioned above) and I, speak of them and remember all the good times we spent together. Some even bad ones lol. We were kids haha. Oh my username used to be donajeta. I’ll also find one screenshot I had of my old avatar. I might have more, I’ll check on a PC one of these days and go through my email.

I consider winx a part of my childhood. Im SO nostalgic about everything winx related. When the official website officially closed, I was desperate for the same feeling. So I kept looking for similar websites. I never did. However in one of the random website I went, I met a guy. That guy, is my now husband.

So yes, winx is a very important part of me to say the least!

I joined the site in late 2010 and never saw it (I didn't even know that it existed ), but I saw something in the web archive. I'm not sure that this is what you're both talking about though.

I met a close friend there too! We were chatting about everything almost every day for 8 years. I definitely considered her my best friend during all those years. But sadly, even though we lived pretty close to each other, we were too young to meet in person. Then I moved to another city, and university life along with other interests took over, so we lost touch in 2020. I sent her the first message in 4 years a week ago, but she hasn't read it yet. Maybe I'll try to write another one later.

Actually, I remember mariposaa too! We may have just exchanged greetings somewhere and nothing more, but I definitely remember seeing her orange nickname.

And I understand your nostalgic feelings!
Honestly, everything Winx Club related is a comfort zone for me now. I don’t think I’ll ever stop returning to it.
In fact, so much in my life is rooted deeply in Winx Club (especially in the forum): my hobbies, my nickname, my degree, and even my current profession... I'm not sure I would be a completely different person if it weren't for Winx, but many things would certainly not be the same.

I lost these messages and only now read them but this makes me so happy.

But it's exactly how I feel. Winx made my life better but this website and this forum helped me become who I am today. I met 3 friends that I honestly considered family for years. We had a falling out 3 years ago, it still hurts but even if we no longer talk they were there at the right time and at the right moment and I fully believe my teenage years would be extremely bitter if they weren't there.

That's above all what drivens me into recreating this place. What you gain from this place and the people you meet really stays with you. I fully believe I became a better person thanks to the experience of having been here as a kid and all the memories I've built.

I really, really wish I could bring everyone back. Some really moved on and that's ok, but I wish I was able to reconnect with everyone that I've lost over the years. So many people from the pt forum that are gone since it closed... camily241, florita11, winxliliana, aquamarine, mira20, vicsupervirtual, danilinda, xanetos... I'd love to see them again.

Speaking of being stylish... Russian forum used to have a competition "Best Web Avatar". And once I won it! But the outfit I had...

My avatar literally looks like a gopnik here I don't understand at all why I decided that this was a worthy look for such a competition. I definitely had better outfits back then! Who voted for this?! It seems like I just had too many good friends. I doubt anyone genuinely thought it was beautiful. But still, I even found a page from a Ru Forum Magazine where someone calls this avatar a "queen of beauty"
