I like first person, but maybe I'm used to it because I'm a fan-fic reader since I was 10 years old :? .

I did a bit of research too and it seems like Silva has not been translated. Sorry :( . But if you can enjoy Béquer it would be nice.

The difference is more about the culture than about the language. Only some expresions of the dialy life are different, but easy to understand for a spanish speaker. Here in Spain we have a lot of dialects too, so we need to be open minded

At first I thought this book wasn't THAT scary, but after reading it I was a bit scared of the cats for a while so the book actually had an huge effect on me with its creepiness

A common mistake, from what I've heard. :D Though I haven't read any of his works myself - seemed to have luck to always be around avid King's readers, who would tell You everything about given book they were just going through, so I almost feel as I have read them :D

Haha so you're kinda having a live audio book moment :D

Speaking of the Moomins I've been planing on reading the Moomin novels for a long time but I still haven't started. Maybe next summer when I have a longer vacation

I'm actually reading Brisingr, from the Eragon saga. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I know a lot of people that loves this saga, so I'm giving it a chance (or a lot, actually).

My next book probably will be Callie Hart's Quiksilver (I have the beautiful special edition). After Brisingr, I read Fourth Wing. It was ok but... I'm not obsessed like other girls.

I have to say that I read everything in spanish, my language.

¿Have you read any of them? ¿Did you liked it? zao_zao

Yeyy I'm so glad you found the book club, welcome!
It's kinda ironic that I made the club but I haven't read anything for months because after I started a part time job simultaneously with uni I haven't have time and energy to read //EHDOHEH/ But I'm waiting for the summer vacation because then I'll have a reading marathon!

Eragon saga is on my tbr list because I'm interested in fantasy literature! I've actually collected the books but haven't started reading them yet... I'm also interested in reading Fourth wing. Both of these series have been translated to Finnish (my mother tongue) :D

I read the first part of Atlas trilogy by Olivie Blake last year and the 2nd part is also my tbr list right now! I really should read it before I've forgotten too much of what happened in the first one :ehmeh::

Don't worry, we all need to stop reading some times because of the job, studies or other situations that stole our time.

About those sagas, if you like dragons you will enjoy them. I will stop talking because I don't want to make spoilers, but when you finish I would like to know your opinion about the sagas!

I suggest Moomin stories as autumn or winter reading. ;)

That's a good idea since I had forgotten to read them this summer and probably need to wait till next autumn when I'll have more time to read

You read when You can and ferl like it, that's only natural. So have nice time with them once You have chance!

Right now I'm on last of the 5 books set of Nancy Drew. Very ambitious reading, I know! It was never translated here, so I had to buy them, but I've got curious about the series, since as teen I used to read a different teen detective collection (about group of boys - go figure why it was picked over Nancy ...). The result of it is, that now I'm waiting for next year, as it's when the first Nancy Drew books goes into public domain, and I hope that some small publisher will pick the original version from 1930, as all available new copies now are rewrites from the 1950s.
