Halloween Festival is finally here!

This event will start from 26 October 2010 till 02 Novemeber 2010!

The Trix are at it again! This time, the Trix have found their way to Gardenia, and casted a spell on Downtown Gardenia to make it eternally dark, with Halloween spooks to spoil the day.

Unfortunately for them, Griffin is around to thwart their little plan – but she needs the help of fellow Winx Adventurers to counter the Trix’s magic. By collecting special event items, Griffin can trace the magic back to its source, and stop the Trix’s Halloween mischief once and for all.

This festival marks the beginning of a 1 week magical journey in Downtown Gardenia, where players get to experience all the thrills of being a Winx Adventurer during Halloween, and help stop the Trix!

Treasure Hunt

Rules

1. Locate and talk to Griffin to begin the event.
2. 3 different items that will be randomly spawned across Downtown Gardenia – a Ghost, a Pumpkin Head and a Cobweb.
3. Winx Adventurers will have to search for these items, and click them to register a find.
4. Once an item is found, it will disappear.
5. After a player finds the same item a certain number of times, he/she will win a prize!
6. Once a player has won a prize by finding an item enough times, he/she can no longer click on the same item to find it again.
7. Finding all 3 items enough times might net you a special surprise!
8. Go back to your Personal Room and open up your Parcel Box!

Usually within 4-5 days everyone would win, they'd only appear a few times per day. Going to different languages would give them faster, since the languages were actually different "games". The game was not translated, it was a new winx adventure in a different language instead. So if you used your account, you'd be logging in with your character in a new game and registering to the server more things found. Some people would win them in just 1 day thanks to that.

I still remember when the tutorial with Bloom update came and the evidence of it being different games became clear. If you logged in a different language, you'd get the tutorial all over again since it was mandatory when you first entered your personal room.

I remember the Halloween event and it felt really special to me since I'm into horror stuff and also it was so cool to "interact" with Griffin in Gardenia (she's my favorite character ) And the spooky version of Gardenia and the suspenseful music were so atmospheric! I'd love to get the halloween outfits back on WA recreation and it's great to see there're more people who remember them! I was lucky to get the orange one which I hoped for and wore it all around the year because I loved it so much

And back to the initial topic: actually the idea of finally choosing almost whatever nickname you've ever wished for, is giving me an existential crisis... Maybe I'll just use the same nickname I've already registered with (Hallowinxer)
