Here we are with Asami's interview! Congratulations again for taking 1st place with such a wonderful entry!

Now, let’s get to know the winner a little better in this exclusive interview:

1. Congratulations on winning the Summer Contest, Asami! What did you think of all the entries we've seen? We had a lot of contestants this time!

2. This contest had a summer theme. What inspired you when designing your outfits? Did you picture beaches, vacations, or something else in mind?

3. Are you satisfied with how your summer-themed designs turned out? Was there a particular detail that was especially fun or challenging to draw?

4. Did you expect to win, or was it a complete surprise when you saw the results?

5. Did you have any works you liked more from your fellow contestants? If so, which ones?

6. You picked Flora, but which Winx fairy do you think would also rock your summer outfit best, and why?

7. Did you draw inspiration from any particular Winx season or style (like the casual looks of Season 4 in Gardenia, scenes from season 1-3 or the colorful transformations from Season 5 and beyond)?

8. What advice would you give to other artists in the Winx community who want to join future contests?

9. Finally, how do you feel about your design being featured on the site and remembered forever as part of the Winx Summer Contest? Any message you’d like to share with the community?

1. Congratulations on winning the Summer Contest, Asami! What did you think of all the entries we've seen? We had a lot of contestants this time!

Hello everyone and beforehand i would like to thank everyone who participated in the contest as participants and everyone who gave their votes not only to me but to everyone else. You all are incredible and breathtaking!

2. This contest had a summer theme. What inspired you when designing your outfits? Did you picture beaches, vacations, or something else in mind?

I had Flora in mind because of the outfit that i saw once in the Winx magazine ( i even carved it out from the magazine itself to store in my belongings <3).

3. Are you satisfied with how your summer-themed designs turned out? Was there a particular detail that was especially fun or challenging to draw?

It's always fun to draw nature - i went for drawing a pirce this time with Flora on it letting her legs getting soaked in some nice cool water. It was something i was doing on my own vacation (well, add a headphones, chill music and white t-shirt to not get burned to a crisp on the sun - that's me on the beach.)

4. Did you expect to win, or was it a complete surprise when you saw the results?

Just imagine me sitting there and eagerly counting every single vote ha-ha! Of course it was a surprise that i got such an amazing amount of votes! I cannot express how thankful i am to everyone who voted for me <3 Yet again a lot of people were debating for who they will give their votes, but trust me - i know that you all wanted for all of us to win)

5. Did you have any works you liked more from your fellow contestants? If so, which ones?

I really liked magic_Noga's art! The style is very unique to a Winx fandom and it definitely caught my attention. Also you can easily imagine Winx doing exactly those activities! (I can agree on Flora being lazy >:D)
The collage made by Hallowinxer also didn't escaped my gaze. The amount of time to actually find the water sourse and bring all the Winx dolls there - you can easily see the comitment to a competition!

6. You picked Flora, but which Winx fairy do you think would also rock your summer outfit best, and why?

I was looking at Layla\Aisha, since she always have this watery vibes going on with her and her love for active kind of rest, but still decided to pick Flora for this one because i prefer more relaxed way of spending summers (not like i got to rest this time thought, but i'm still looking forward to spend at least some time next to the beach this year).

7. Did you draw inspiration from any particular Winx season or style (like the casual looks of Season 4 in Gardenia, scenes from season 1-3 or the colorful transformations from Season 5 and beyond)?

I haven't saw much people actually drawing Flora in this outfit and decided to give it a go! So i guess my entire work was heavily inspired by that outfit. Not exactly sure of what kind of collection it was, like namewise, but it was a bikini and, well, bikinis are part of the summer and ocean\sea related thematics.

8. What advice would you give to other artists in the Winx community who want to join future contests?

I, as full time artist, i would say: Create art that feels true to you, not just what you think others want to see.

9. Finally, how do you feel about your design being featured on the site and remembered forever as part of the Winx Summer Contest? Any message you’d like to share with the community?
