Mind you, I don't play any instruments but I was 8-9 years old at the time, and my cousin (who's 15 years older than me) helped me pick out a name to sign up on the website. We had no idea what to choose, so I just picked "harpa" (harp in portuguese) because I liked this instrument's sound It's kinda cringe, but it did grow on me

This was like my 10th account on the Winx Club website. I had a very tiny computer offered by the state when I created my first account back in early 2010, which was probably around the time the website first switched to the season 4 version. I was a total noob and didn’t really know how to handle emails.

Later on, during Christmas (literally the night transitioning from the 24th to the 25th), I finally got a proper computer. From there I just kept making more and more accounts, probably around 8 or 9 different ones, until I discovered Winx Adventure in January. That’s when I decided to settle down with this one.

The name itself: jul comes from my (unfortunate) father’s name and my own first name, Júlio. -eic was just the first thing that came to my mind, and 1123 was random, though most of my earlier usernames had things like 123, 111, or 112, so it kept the same pattern.

Because of WA (and Solariap), I never let go of this username and it became my main everywhere. I eventually recovered in 2012 the one tied to my old main email back then, which had an account called julio123, but that one never felt as original so I didn’t use it.

I’ve lost access to the email attached to juleic1123, but I can still use it to log into the official site, which is pretty nice. These days I prefer the name Rafael (the one my mom gave me), since Júlio just reminds me of someone who was absent my whole life and only ever showed up to be a bad parent.

But juleic1123 became such a big part of me thanks to this website that I use it everywhere. If you search it, you’ll probably find me across all sorts of communities: Code Lyoko, Club Penguin, Forumotion, Pixie Hollow, DeviantArt, TikTok, Reddit, Amino…

I just can’t let go of that name, so here we are.

We call it Harp here in Turkey and when I first saw your username I said to myself "This person must really like the Harp" LOL

It's alright, i also struggled which name to use online too ngl xD
like i used a nickname i gave a character in a videogame, i used it everywhere else (not this one here), it kinda grew on me lol

I wanted to go with my old winxclub username cause it felt so nostalgic, it was such a big part in my life around 2010/2011. But back than I used my real name in every username I had, cause I was so bad in creating a username and was afraid I might hate it very fast and I could never go wrong with my own name, so my name with some numbers became my username.
But last year I started to feel very uncomfortable with using my own name. So I changed my username on a lot of sites but didn't know what to choose, so somehow I came up with this.


Crystal -> because I like crystals, gems ect and it gives me a bit of a magical vibe
Rose -> because Roses are my favorite flowers

Later I realised that this are also real names and people might think that this is my real name but that's not true. And now I am not sure how happy I am with it anymore, but can't change it I could create a new account but I would have to start all over again

People don't usually assume that those are real names online though. At least not in my experience, I've seen a lot of people using different names and pen names for writing/drawing, even if they are real names, if you like the name you chose, being a real name shouldnt stop you from using it :v

One of my favorite games growing up was called "Magical Starsign", and it was for the DS. The items that heal your HP are gummy frogs. Gummy worms restored your MP.

Wow, it's so interesting to read about the stories behind your nicknames!
I honestly never realized that harpa is the name of a musical instrument!
I thought it was just a cool made-up name.


My nickname on the old Winx Club website was natasha_r, where Natasha is my real name, and the _r was added completely randomly (probably because the name natasha alone was already taken )
Back then, I liked visiting foreign forums and chatting there using Google Translate . And one time I happened to join the chat of an Italian user. If I'm not mistaken, her nickname was lunettafatata. We started messaging from time to time, and she called me Naty. I had never heard that version of my name before, but I really liked it and started using it as my nickname. Later, it transformed into Natie. And now, most of my internet friends know me as Natie.

Actually, I like how at first glance it seems like it's just a short version of my name, but in reality, there's a deep connection to the Winx Club forum.
