I'm so glad to hear that! I tried my best to bring what we had and improve/add what we hadn't, and despite some bugs every single time, I'm very proud of how it's going so far!

And yes, you absolutely can schedule meetings for people to see each other on WA, we did that a lot back then!

I was, but it was for very little time, it ends next week. It's just tiring to not find something permanent. Part of me doesn't want to jump into a job that isn't remote, because chances are I'll have even less time to work on the website and the games & my hobbies, but at this rate, to find finantial stability, I really might have to. We'll see how 2026 goes. To be 100% honest, it's not like I'm not searching for both, I've been lucky (or unlucky...) to never have been called for anything besdes remote work.

At least that´s what I see when searching for job offers. I hope you can get financial support from the gonvernment while you´re searching for a new job. If u look out for offers you might find something fitting in part time! I fully understand that you still want to have time for your passion and hobbies in general! I´ll cross my fingers for you!

I´ve a bit of an orientation for myself. I did an internship at a hardware store for three weeks. My task was to take care of the plants, water them, look for pests, display the goods and so on. It made a lot of fun and I think this is a job I´d like to do in the future I need to do a new education so right now I´ve to clarify some stuff, like if I´ll get financial support meanwhile. I can´t take that alone But I have a perspective and feel so much better mentally.

but: Is there a way you could turn the Art Gallery section from every forum on private? So only logged in users can see it? The AI movement and stealing is a bit worrying. Would be nice to set another burden for them

And thanks for asking, but while programming is being searched more and more, it’s not really my area, so I honestly don’t think I’ll ever properly find a job in programming.

I’m still learning, but mostly because I wanted to build my own website and work on games. I didn’t study it in school, only a single semester at university, and even that was very basic: things like how to use Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and how to build a simple website on a free-ish platform. Which is the opposite of this HUGE project.

My actual area is translation or dubbing. Translation is what I studied directly. Dubbing is something I’ve done since I was 10, but I never managed to get into it professionally, and in Portugal it’s a pretty sealed-off industry. Translation, on top of that, is changing a lot and becoming less and less required because of AI, so it’s been hard to land a job in it. My last part-time job, for example, had almost no translation and ended up being mostly marketing-related instead.

About your internship, that sounds like a genuinely good fit, and having a clearer perspective plus a plan to aim for can make a big difference mentally; I’m glad you’re feeling better.

As for turning the galleries private, I understand what you mean, but I also think part of the forums’ charm is that they’re open to everyone. Still, the good news is that bots haven’t been able to see the forum images since November 2025. They used to gather the image URLs and display them on Google or Bing image searches, but they can’t really do that anymore; if you search for our forum now, you’ll mostly find old topics that were indexed back then, prior to November. I think that I might come back to this in the future though and really make one or two sections private, maybe the gallery and Chatta. But for now I think it's ok to leave it like this.
