Hey! How did it go?

Actually, I’m feeling a bit down now because I need to search for another course and build a completely different roadmap 😅
Hopefully everything I do will work out later haha

I think well. This person runs and speaks on 1.5 speed, but besides that, she really wants to learn, which is great. Also a boy I tutored got B on the exam he initially failed, so that's nice.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that! Good luck with the new roadmark. Do You have ideas, as to where to go from where You are now?

Hi Alexarion! Nice hearing from You. I'm glad to hear You're happy with deleting social media. :)
I'm now exchanging letters with few people, which is pretty fun!

Ooh, like physical letters? Are these people you know in real life? I love letters. They give so much personality :D

Yeah, physical ones :D Two yes, but most of them I meant online, on old forums and such. Places that don't exist anymore either. So I'm happy we've managed to stay in touch that way! :D And letters are so much fun! I've now small collection of stickers and post-stamps to make some cute combos. I've already had several different letter paper/stationery, that I didn't use anyway. (not beating my friend though, who also have some nice inks and quills and still haven't wrote me back!!!).

I would love to write letters with all You here too, but alas!

Nice to hear that :D so you did a great job
I wish I had a native speaker friend in real life  actually, nowadays the only way for me to speak languages is talk online like I do it here

I'm thinking of "hiring" a mentor who could help me with my studies  The course is pretty pricey which is why I doubt I really want to pay for something I can search online on my own and just pay less to a person who would be my personal guide
:D

Are you preparing for Christmas already?

Yeah, it would be nice, but the rules are the rules  anyway, it would be almost impossible to send letters to my country for now...

OOh, I love that! That´s so cool in_love_ in_love_ Back then I had a youtube channel reviewing mangas and sometimes I had the option to switch manga titles with others. Was always cool to receive their manga with a personal letter :D

So you already have a good collection of letter material

What´s the oldest letter you have?

@Blomady - Aw, thank You. Tomorrow I might be giving him some more tutoring, though certainly I'm no native speaker.

Have You tried looking some language enthusiast clubs, or meetings? Maybe there is something like that in your area?
And yeah, classes and tutors are expensive :(

Oh no, December is December and it's still not here. Besides here we have one more holiday, that's all about dark autumn and divination and I'm not going to miss out on it!
How about You?

Oh, sorry to hear that. But also I checked my national postal service and they seem to be delivering to most places (unless the country closed its borders all together), so there is a chance that it would reach You too. I know that while I can't send anything bigger to States (due to tarriffs), letters are still exchanged. Similarily, while the Canadian postal service held protest, they still delivered my letter. Though my friend couldn't post me anything back. So, who knows maybe You're in a better situation, than You think You are?

@Alexarion - You had a Yt channel reviewing mangas? How awesome!
Also swiping mangas sounds like a great idea!

Yeah, kinda. The stationary set (paper and envelope, I mean) were always such a rare finds for me, that if I came across any pretty one I would buy it. But I usually had some opportunity to use them, so only singular sheets left. As for the oldest, I have a small handfull of letters from my teens, when I exchanged maybe one letter with people I've met at summer camps, or such. But seriously, one letter and it all usually died...

How about You? Do You have any old letters?

Yes I loved it so much! It was around 2014. I had a very small community and even met a girl I´m still friends with :D
Sadly I accidentally deleted my e-mail adress and the channel was gone. Only saved one video.

Yeah, I think that´s mostly the problem and unfortunately I can´t free myself from that. That´s why I don´t have friends I switch letters with. I tend to take way too long to answer :ehmeh::

Last year I found a girl on eBay who searched for penpals you could say. We switched around some letters but I got busier and at some point didn´t reply back.

But it´s so cool that u still do that! zao_zao

How do u feel overall? Especially with the grey and rainy weather.

Have You thought about restarting the reviews with a different channel, then? But it's great You still have friend from that experience over 10 years later!

I think it can be also that if we meet people in a highten circumstances, we don't have much else in common, than that event, and it can be hard to build from that. Also yeah, life happens, and it feels weird to pick up after long time. But You know what, if You're friends, that really doesn't matter. Kinda like when You have friends You no longer lived in same area, but when You meet up, You instantly pick up from where You were and just are. And I think, that same should be with letters and we should give ourselves and others more grace. Though I know it's not easy...

Thank You for asking. It varies from day to day. I've talked with a doc, now I need to do some blood tests and she wrote me a referal to psychiatrist, so I can get some meds (and in case I can't get a visit - since here, it can be hard, I'm to get a in-person visit with internist and they will), so at least I'm moving wiyh the issue a bit.
And how are You doing? In general, but also seasonally?
