She's got some good personal traits though. We should take into account that it's a cartoon for children and it's not meant to be a cartoon full of deep thoughts so![]()
Exactly. That's why I find bloom hate unnecessary since this is a children's show. There are similar cases where precure movies focus on main character of the series getting exclusive powers ups.
Unfortunately it's not possible to do too many main characters because of timing restrictions... That's why 3 main characters is a common cliche.
That's a really good point!
Haha these kind of thread are so difficult for me since I feel like my opinions on Winx are mostly popular.
I've been thinking lately that some fairies exaggerate how mean the witches are. I know they bullied Musa with the Trix in the season 1, but also fairies can be really mean to each other (and to specialists), like Amaryl and her friends, and that one fairy who tried to sabotage Winx's acrobatics show in the beginning of the 4th season and made it seem like the another fairy was guilty for it. I know witches are bullying each other too, like they were mocking Mirta or anyone who makes a mistake in some spell in the classroom. But Stella has been mocking the clothes the witches are wearing and when the Winx broke into the Trix's room in season 1 they were very judgemental about almost everything they saw there. In Alfea the fairies have been taught to avoid witches but they also think they're better than the witches (you can see this kind of attitude in the 2nd season when Winx girls hear they need to go to Cloudtower for a short exchange and they're like "fairies aren't slaves to to proudness like witches are". So is that any better? It feels like most of the schools are victims of thinking stereotypically about the different school and don't see the students individually. The witches and fairies have also been battling together against the evil and then had an after party together.
So I'm wondering, after all these years, who or what initially started the "fight" and confrontation between the fairies and witches? Are all of them victims of some old traditions and roles? They've co-operated many times, tho and the both sides have a bad attitude and stereotypical thinking about the other side. Why can specialists date and hang out with both fairies and witches freely and no one cares about that, but the witches and fairies still hate each other? Because none of these sides are angels and completely innocent.
Also the Trix are an exception, they're just evil

Also, have you seen any fairy wearing gothic or alternative clothes? I haven't and kinda don't even wonder why. I have a feeling that if I was a fairy, many fairies would judge me because of the gothic clothes I wear because I wouldn't look like a stereotypical fairy. Mirta seems to be the first one who doesn't look like a stereotypical fairy.
