What is happening?

The Trix are trying to obtain the most powerful magical objects in the Universe. After months of research and practicing, they are ready for the spell that will change everything.

However, the instructions may not have been as clear as they initially thought. Instead of summoning all the most powerful magical items, they instead find themselves in front of a crowd of unknown people from other worlds, all missing one key thing - the item or ability most important to them, the source of all their powers or motivation.

Icy, Darcy and Stormy flee before anyone can figure out their involvement in this mishap, vowing to try again and to collect the items themselves. Failure is not an option for them.

What are we doing here?

Everyone summoned by the Trix with their spell is a main character of a beloved childhood cartoon. You may play any character from a cartoon, preferably your favourite childhood hero (for example anyone from WITCH, Totally Spies, Phineas and Ferb, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Scooby Doo, Winx, Teen Titans, Kim Possible, Gravity Falls and so on). As the characters would not know eachother, other players do not necessarily need to know every character that is being played.

Throughout the RP, the group of characters will have to learn to work together to find their respective magical objects within Magix, or within one of the other cartoon worlds of present characters where they may face other villains, or the Trix themselves on their hunt for the important items.

Each individual world contains one of the items the characters lost, and things will happen in the same way they usually do in that world (for example in the Scooby Doo world the characters would have to solve a monster mystery. In the Powerpuff Girl's world, one of the villains is attacking Townsville and must be stopped). Once the villain of the episode is defeated, the characters can recover the item and move to a different world.

Once a character's item is recovered, the player can continue playing the character and helping the group, or can pick a new character and start a new adventure by joining the group.

Last bits and pieces

I wanted this to be THE childhood nostalgia RP. Any character is welcome, and it will not necessarily be a fully serious RP so the silly comedic nature of some cartoons and characters is encouraged.
We all have that one favourite character or cartoon that we watched as children, stories that stayed with us or characters that we so funny/silly/emotional that we couldn't help but love them. What if they all were stuck together?

I would like to have at least 4 characters before the RP officially starts, and anyone is welcome to join at any time. Afterall, you never know when the Trix would be attempting their spell again, so new characters can pop up at any time!

Courage

Character name: Courage
Show: Courage the Cowardly Dog
Missing item/power: Muriel Bagge (his owner)
Character description:

After losing his parents to an evil vet, Courage was picked up from the streets by Muriel, who took pity on the seemingly abandoned puppy, giving him both his name and a home to call his own. Under Muriel's care, Courage grows into a loyal dog who'd walk through fire to keep his owners safe.

Despite his name, Courage is an extremely anxious dog who scares easily, and he's often thrust into dangerous situations against his will. But whenever crisis strikes, Courage braves his fears and does everything he can to protect the people around him.

At present, he lives in an old, rickety house in the middle of Nowhere, Kansas, with Muriel and her irritable husband, Eustace. Although Eustace is quite abusive to him, Courage pays him no mind, as he considers it a small price to pay for the safety and kindness that Muriel provides. Though, since Muriel is a sweet, elderly and unsuspecting woman, she's often the very reason why her family ends up in danger.

Short description of the show:

Courage the Cowardly Dog is a dark cartoon, rife with comedy and horror. Each episode follows a standard format where the peace of the Bagge household is disrupted by some force of evil, and Courage must overcome his fears to save Muriel, Eustace, and the other friends he makes along the way.

Interestingly enough, it's also a show that covers themes like appearances vs reality, ostracism, loneliness, etc., and, at times, even the most terrifying villains befriend Courage because he's the only one to extend a helping hand or show concern for them.

(If you haven't watched it, I'd advise against it if you're easily scared / prone to terrible nightmares. Even though I watched Courage the Cowardly Dog as a kid, I now realize that it wasn't aimed at children...)
