What are your winx hot takes?

I'll start, the first hot take I have is that Bloom is overhated, I don't understand her hate to this day, I get why bloom has more screentime, she is protagonist of Winx Club. But I don't find it suitable for to call bloom screen-stealer. If you're very desperate for equal screentime, I suggest making a 5-6 character show with equal screentime instead of complaining about Bloom getting screentime just because she is a protagonist of the show.

Second hot take is that season 8's artstyle isn't that bad, they really nailed it with pseudo-anime style but they shouldn't whitewash the characters at all.

Exactly. That's why I find bloom hate unnecessary since this is a children's show. There are similar cases where precure movies focus on main character of the series getting exclusive powers ups.

Unfortunately it's not possible to do too many main characters because of timing restrictions... That's why 3 main characters is a common cliche.

Yep, I think it explains why Bloom, Stella and Flora appear in merchandise a lot than others, especially the dolls.

I hate Bloom...siiike,only after Season 4. After Season 3,her story ended so her getting even more screen time than she used to is just crazy to me. In the first four 4 seasons she is a great character,not my personal favorite but still a great protagonist.


I don't like the Season 8 artstyle because it makes the girls seem too young for me,Winx always had inspiration from Anime but they always put a bit of Italian things as well because...Winx is from Italy. The fairy couture artstyle is near identical to Italian fashion sketches and that's just one example. I felt like they didn't do a good job at the anime artstyle,it makes everyone seem younger and they whitewashed characters...there is no official artwork of a Flora who is brown in the season 8 artstyle but the comics in the WOW era made Flora her normal skintone.

Just to make things clear - I understand there is a financial side to the reboots and I also get that rainbow already tried spin- offs and other series without that much success, but still. I would love to se more of the Magix, I would, but everything recently feels pretty uninspired, so I'd rather they find some new story they'd feel excited to show. Cause hot take, but not really, if You're chasing trends, You're already late, so raibow really needs to stop and try to set new one with project they believe in.
So yeah, my hot takes, and probably also unpopular opinions.

I don't think that's really a hot take,I think everyone thinks the same because the Sirenix designs are definitely not the best transformation outfits.
