I read that the idea was to replace Aisha with Roxy. Why?

Is it true? I would have loved to get Roxy as main character but not with the cost of losing Aisha

I've never heard of it honestly. I don't think this would have ever happened. One of the arguments for that is that she is important for the people of colour's representation on the series.
Moreover, as I have already said in some of the topics, I don't feel like Roxy got enough of character to become one of the main ones

I agree, these are very good points!

This actually reminded me of the rumours during the 4th season: after Layla left Winx Club to join to the fairies of the revenge, some people were speculating if she'll ever come back and if Roxy will take her "role" in Winx Club. I'm glad that didn't happen. Layla definitely has more potential and is a deeper character than Roxy imo.

Aisha was also supossed to become a villan when Nabu died. but the fans were maddddd, so they changed it. also when it did happen, Roxy couldnt keep up with the other girls, which also plays a roll in why it didnt happen in the series.

Now I'm interested: which comics you are referring to? If you remember their numbers or names, I'm interested! I haven't read all of the comics because they stopped publishing the Winx magazines in my country after the Believix comics.

Btw it'd be cool to see Aisha as a villain for a longer time! But I didn't know that the producers changed their mind because of the audience's reactions
