Rainbow™ wanted Winx to extend to the United States,so Rainbow™ decided to make a deal with 4K!DS Entertainment™ and a big way of promoting any product is merchandise. One of the Winx Club fans' most beloved Winx Club Merchandise is Winx Club dolls. They are something fanatics pay hundreds of dollars and euros for these dolls. The Winx Club dolls were made by 4 different toy companies. Mattel,Giochi Preziosi,Witty Toys,Jakks Pacific. In this topic,we will talk about the Mattel™ dolls going in a chronological order.

Season 1 by Mattel (2003-4)





This is the first Winx doll line from Mattel and it has a chance of being the first.

After 4K!DS got the rights for Winx Club,they made deals with some companies to make merchandise (Bedsheets,backpacks etc.) and one if those companies was Mattel,known for being the company behind the most successful fashion doll if all time,Barbie™ in 2004 along with the 4K!DS dub of Winx Club Season 1 the dolls for this season released. The collection of dolls are titled Season 1 (Mattel) among the fandom since this collection technically is nameless.

Trivia :

- All dolls are priced 17,99 €
- Bloom is referred as The Fairy Of The Wind,this makes some people theorize she used to be The Fairy Of The Wind. Even though in promotional posters they just refer to her as the "Leader Of The Group" and don't mention her powers.

It sounds fair to be honest... her costumes are mostly turquoise which can be associated with the wind

Also there was an art work of Bloom where she was casting a spell with clouds coming out of her hands,kind of like Hay Lin showing her powers to Yan Lin in an early issue,I don't remember which but it was probably between the 1-5th issues of Arc 1. In the artwork Bloom had a yellow crop top with a star cut out and her pants and shoes were the same as her Season 1 casual outfit.

This doll line was inspired by the clothes the Winx wore in Season 1 Episode 3


Trivia :

- Stella's outfit is very different from her outfit in Season 1 Episode 3 unlike everyone else
- Aisha wears an outfit from a fashion pack unlike the rest of the girls
- All dolls had Kanekelon type of hair
- There was a fashion pack called Dance Night Fashions with all 5 outfits with their accessories but without the dolls
- All of the dolls were priced 12,99 € and Dance Night Fashions were priced at 19,99€
