For me, Witch was the first TV series because it aired earlier in my country, I was attending kindergarten at the moment, and later when I started going to school Winx still weren't there. So, I had a CD-disk with a game, and collected the magazines. Sadly, when I grew older I decided to get rid of all the "childish" magazines and stuff, the decision I still regret
Now I have official volumes from 1 to 15 that I store on the bookshelf ~

What was your favorite issue as a kid?

I kind of feel the same but I definitely enjoy the first 2 arcs way more than others,lol

My favorite arcs are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd (because of Orube), 5th and 6th.

The 1st is so mystical and iconic. It's so interesting to get to know the
Metamoor, Elyon's and Rudolph's past and see the W.i.t.c.h. girls' different reactions after finding out they're guardians. Overall I love the moments of any magical girls learning to use their new powers! And Cornelia's grief when Elyon got lost was so heart-breaking I adore their friendship so much!

The 2nd one is creepy and I love it. Nerissa's own haunting melody and the previous guardians are interesting! Also I like Cassidy's death because it gives some perspective on how dangerous and evil Nerissa is, and it feels dramatic because in magical girls comics characters don't die so often.

I like the 3rd arc because Orube is one of my favorite characters and she has both funny and adorable moments in earth. Also Taranee was such a boss in the arc. This was the first arc (with the 6th one) I read because in Finland they re-published the arcs 1-3 with omnibus editions and the first comic book I got as a kid was the book with the comics in the middle of the 3rd arc. I still remember it was a warm summer day I rode to a shop with my bicycle and got the book

The 5th arc felt so special to me because I love books, and the whole plot about the magical book, people being trapped inside of the book and all of the riddles were so interesting! And all of the hypnotic powers near the element rocks (or whatever they've called in English) were so cool since I go crazy with any plot with hypnosis

I grew up with the 6th arc. The W.i.t.c.h. comics were published in the Finnish W.i.t.c.h. magazines (1 comic in a magazine) and my first W.i.t.c.h. magazine was near the beginning of the 6th arc. (So simultaneously with reading the 6th arc I read the re-published omnibus editions of the 3rd arc). The ragorlang monsters were actually very scary and the whole plot of an old evil woman stealing teenagers' lifes creeped me out.

I started reading W.i.t.c.h. magazines as a kid around the same time I started watching Winx, maybe a bit later. I still love the comics and I have collected almost all of the Finnish releases and the Finnish books too. I also watched the tv show as a kid but I don't remember much about it anymore (but I will definitely re-watch it!!)

As a kid I thought that W.i.t.c.h. comics are better than Winx comics, and Winx tv show is better than W.i.t.c.h. tv show
Haha now I really want to re-read and re-watch everything!

Of course you can join! I haven't reread the comics because I kind of boycotted them after the issue where Will and Matt break up because I was so sick of them lol,but after I rewatch Winx Season 3 I will start watching W.i.t.c.h. again

Ahhh I don't remember anything from season 2, I really need to re-watch both season when I have more time!!

I started re-reading the comics and I've just re-read the first arc. And I was crying so much lol. Personally I find the scenes with any magical girl finding their powers first time and learning to use them so interesting. I loved the scenes they tried to use their powers innocently, like Irma tried to colour paint with ther powers but then messed up and the paint exploded to Taranee's and Will's clothes and face. I loved Irma's comments, I don't know how it's even possible to comment everything in so funny way, no matter if they're at the school or in the middle of the battle.

My favorite scenes: ((A SPOILER WARNING))
- Elyon had a connection with Metamoor and drew Caleb from Cornelia's dreams and when Cornelia and Caleb finally met they felt like they've met before. This really gave me goosebumps and feels special to me.
- When Elyon destroyed the prison with an magical eraser, I was crying again
- When Elyon got her full powers with the crown and healed the whole Metamoor really proves she has a pure heart.
- When Will made an astral grandpa (of Matt's grandpa) and he asked the investigators' help with his car And when the investigators followed him he said "thanks for your concern but I already figured out how the car works" omg I bursted out laughing so hard and so did my mom when I showed her the scene and we laughed together for such a long time
- When Irma told Martin to get lost and Martin turned into invisible. Btw I didn't remember Martin was so funny!
- Well the halloween party was iconic of course
- every scene with Will's marmot, which is soooo cute, I'm crying And the scene when the marmot peeked from beneath the invisibility cloak and Will said people could get scared if they see marmot's head floating in the air And every time when marmot made a huge mess and pretended to be innocent when Will's mother came to Will's room

And I adore Cornelia's and Elyon's friendship so much. It's so bittersweet that Elyon is now living so far away from Cornelia. Everytime the W.i.t.c.h. girls visited Elyons abandoned house in Heatherfield, it felt so bittersweet. And I love how Cornelia was the only one who believed Elyon is not completely turned into evil.

In my W.i.t.c.h. omnibus collection there's also a comic about W.i.t.c.h.girls a year before they found out they're the guardians. Every story of their lifes gave me goosebumps. Hay Lin's kite was flying against all of the laws of physics, Cornelia hearing the tree knocking the window and calling her in the middle of the night... These were just so magical moments.

Next I'm reading the 2nd arc. I really hope to read all of them chronologically during August but I'm not sure if I have enough time since I have so much to do before the uni starts again...
