Wow… this is actually really emotional for me.
I completely forgot that today marks exactly one year since the site was released, and the fact that members remembered it before me honestly caught me off guard. I think it would probably have hit me later or maybe next week, but right now it just feels really special to have not been me.

I also have a story/confession to share. As some of you know, this was actually my third attempt at bringing the website back, and my fourth for Winx Adventure. I honestly didn’t think people would actually register for a long time. Back then, promoting was a huge chore and it often felt like people just weren’t interested. We’d get one user here and there, but overall it was deserted. Even our beta version from 2014 only reached 87 accounts, despite the forum having more members back then and everything.

So to look at things now… it’s mindblowing. From the moment this version of the website was released, people started joining and it never stopped. Sure, the forums sometimes go quiet and not everyone is online in WA at the same time, but seeing the statistics hit a record of 6000+ users connected simultaneously, having 880+ accounts on Winx Adventure, and so many members checking in regularly... it means the world to me.

It's like all the effort I put into this has been worth it. Honestly, I did this recreation FIRST for myself and because I missed this place dearly, but I think it'd fall flat because ultimately, I missed what made this place truly cozy and inviting: you.

To have both back again, and so soon, feels completely surreal. Thank you all for being here.

Congrats for the forums of winx! It gave me the 2010s internet unlike what's in internet nowdays! The revival has so much soul that what rainbow is doing haha

Happy (belated) Birthday to the forum!!

I really was in a right place in a right time when I found out about the re-creation!! Almost all of the websites I used to visit as a kid are gone and I realized that actually I don't even visit websites anymore since nowadays everything is in social media apps. Realizing that made me sad because as a kid I used to write lists about my favorite websites. Nowadays it feels like almost no one does that and people don't read blogs that much anymore etc. Anyway, Winx Club Online was the website I missed the MOST. I think I just never grew over the fact that it was over. It was constantly on my mind: as a kid I was so heart-broken when Gardenia Park, WA and the forums got closed and as an adult I was still so sad because of that. But almost a year ago I saw an ad of the re-creation on facebook (all of the doom scrolling was worth it) and I can't even express how much joy I felt!! It felt like I was brought back to home after so many years! Haha this might sound over-dramatic but I'm just a super sensitive and a deeply feeling person and the website means so much to me so this makes me so emotional too

This community is just special and unique and people are so sweet! I actually haven't had any internet friends for a looong time until I started writing here. I have many friends irl but it feels special to have internet friends from all around the world too!! I used to have some friends on the og forum, GP and WA but I lost them because everything got shut down. I also used to have some internet friends as a kid when it was popular to create your own Winx blog in Finland and I interacted with many Finnish Winx fans through our blogs. But when people grew up, they stopped liking Winx, the blogs got shut down one after another and the people and the whole blog community just disappeared. So getting to know people with same kinds of interests here is really important to me, and I love meeting people who remember the og website and I love sharing my memories with them here Because I didn't only miss the website and the games - I was missing the feeling of being part of a community! And now I've got it back and I'm just so grateful and happy!

Lol it's 3.30am and I'm in the middle of emotions and nostalgy. I KNEW this is going to be a novel once I start writing so that's why it took me so much time to respond to this topic since this isn't something I just quickly wrote while waiting for the bus
