Yeah, I understand the Portuguese editions here being more expensive, because publishing houses have to buy the rights and have translation costs, etc. But I never thought the English ones would be more expensive there!

When translated books are always either longer or shorter so in certain countries they are cheaper then the original press and in some they are more expensive because it's more costly to make and print them. That is the reason why that happens if I remember correctly
