I suppose the ideal would be somewhere in the middle, with more articulation. The mattel dolls have bendy arms, but their legs don't move, from what I remember.
The new reboot dolls seem to only have articulated legs... I'm not a fan of the reboot at all, but if they had at least been fully articulated, they would be fun to change into original series dolls. :(

Their legs DO MOVE but not that much

I seriously wonder why full articulation isn't the standard for doll lines these days. I understand if these were budget dolls, but they aren't!! Even then I'm pretty sure Monster High and other brands had articulated budget releases.

Yeah I heard that too... It would explain why the show relies so heavily on AI and looks like that.
I might wait and see if the dolls come to the US, then grab some if they're marked down. At least they'll be fun OOAK projects!

Figures  At least they'll be fun OOAK projects if I can get them at a good price.

I saw some people on Twitter that noticed the Mermaid Magic dolls are fully articulated. Why Rainbow doesn't put more effort into their flagship series, I have no idea.

hi! it’s so exciting to see that these forums are back! i’ve been collecting winx dolls for over fifteen years, and my lifelong goal is to someday have every single one! i currently have around 400 winx dolls, with a variety from each different type that’s been released over the years. i enjoy restoring them as well as attempting to document what all has been released! i collect other winx merchandise too, as well as other dolls ( i have around 2000 dolls in total ), but winx is what got me interested in dolls to begin with.

i’m always happy to talk about winx dolls at any time, offer tips on how to restore and repair them, etc! nice to meet you guys!
